A line of precision gunner robots designed by Dr. Eggman. Known models include:
- E-100 Alpha -- More commonly known as ZERO. Prototype for the E-series, a bit deficient in the AI department. Destroyed by Amy in Sonic Adventure, but
makes a cameo in the Special Stages of Sonic Advance 2. (For more info, refer to ZERO's profile.)
- E-101 Beta -- First complete model. Eventually upgraded to E-101 Kai and finally destroyed by E-102 Gamma. (For more info, refer to
Beta's profile.)
- E-102 Gamma -- Technologically inferior to E-101 Beta, but the first model to achieve total sentience and turn against Eggman. He ultimately destroyed
models E-102 through 105 before being destroyed himself in battle with E-101. (For more info, refer to Gamma's
profile.)
- E-103 Delta -- Third model, destroyed by E-102. (For more info, refer to Delta's profile.)
- E-104 Epsilon -- Fourth model, destroyed by E-102. (For more info, refer to Epsilon's profile.)
- E-105 Zeta -- Fifth and final model produced in the original set. Upgraded and merged into the Egg Carrier's defense system before being destroyed by
E-102. (For more info, refer to Zeta's profile.)
- E-1000 -- Low-AI clones of E-102, used to guard Eggman's pyramid base in Sonic Adventure 2.
- E-123 Omega -- Final and most powerful model produced in the E-series. Like E-102, E-123 has achieved sentience and turned against Eggman. He's the
last surviving model. (For more info, refer to Omega's profile.)
A few additional robots carry the "E" label, but are probably not part of the original "E-series" proper:
- E-121 Phi -- Monochrome Gizoid clones constructed by Eggman based on data from Emerl. They're powered by Emerald shards. (For more info, refer to the
E-121 Phi entry.)
- Chaos Gamma -- A sentient Gamma clone constructed with leftover E-series parts. Destroyed by Shadow and Emerl. (For more info, refer to
Chaos Gamma's profile.)
- E-10000G -- A line of mass-produced grunt bots that act as laborers in Eggman's Egg Factory. They take orders from E-10000R. (For more info, refer to
E-10000G's profile.)
- E-10000R -- Head unit of the E-10000G squad, smarter and faster than his underlings. (For more info, refer to
E-10000R's profile.)
