The fifth machine produced in Eggman's E-100 series, a line of highly accurate shooting robots powered by bioenergy from small animals. After falling out of favor with Eggman, Zeta's core was installed into the defense system of Hot Shelter, where he was destroyed ("liberated") by his rogue "brother" Gamma.
