Whoa hang on a second...

All three characters play the same levels, but take different routes, right? But Shadow's game is set in the future...

It seems that for whatever reason, "His World", the main theme to the game, was removed from the official website. The file itself can still be accessed here and has been mirrored by myself here.

XBOX can handle effects similar to what we'd seen in this game, observe...

Red Steel uses a modified version of this Engine.

If anyone here can read Japanese, what does that button say on the bottom of the character profiles, the one that flashes "COMING SOON" if you hover over it? I'm hoping its nothing interesting because I never want to have to come back to this site, I can barely get the fucking thing to load.

Sonic's says "Custom Action", Shadow's says "Gadget Action", and Silver's says "ESP Action". I assume they refer to special moves or something they intend to list eventually.

Flash is quite probably the worst thing to ever happen to the internet. Infact, flash may be the worst thing to ever happen.

I guess custom action means we can count on plenty of missed Light Speed Dashes, rolls, and grabs for stage-specific gimmicks. You can always count on Sonic!

I'd wait a year. Almost every 360 out now is defective. MS is considering a recall, I heard.

I think Sonic 06 could definately reach the Wii. If you've seen screens of the game Red Steel for Wii, the graphics are only 70% of the Wii's power, making it 7 times more powerful then the gamecube, and 3 times stronger then a 360. They can definately port it over. I don't know why I keep hoping for one, probably won't happen though. It's the cheapest next gen system currently, and I'd love to play Sonic on it. Don't get me wrong, Wildfire looks kick ass, just I'm alot more excited about Sonic 06.

Also, I think they may be fixing up the main theme. They did it with Live and Learn and the Sonic Heroes themes before.

The music is back at the main site! but without lyrics and in loop form, I guess it was copyright issues or something.

Flash buttons and other minor stuff like that is fine, but when the entire fucking site is built around script that hardly even works correctly, that's when flash gives me the shits.

But I digress.

But can it do it at 60fps with the levels Sonic 2k6 has, at the speed Sonic can move? Deathmatch maps are far smaller and a lot less complex than singleplayer maps, no matter what game you're playing. Not only that, but you're forgetting havok physics (which eat up a LOT of CPU), Kynogon AI, specular highlighting, bump and normal mapping, far more detailed player models and maps, with higher resolution textures.

Like I said, the game would probably have to be seriously scaled back/tweaked to run on the Wii hardware.

It might be possible, but it's also probably a lot more work than it's worth.

I will never excuse you. Ever. You are a horrid poster and one of the dumbest people I have ever seen. Every night before I go to bed, I pray to god that you won't wake up the next morning. If I were ever to meet you in real life I would punch you in the face and kick you in the balls at the same time. Twice.
Never post again.

This board really needs a psyduck emote. I really don't know how else I would respond to this.

Hm. Lucky you then.

I came across a link the other day that led to a message board post. It was a thread several pages long, asking if anyone else had a broken 360. The next several pages were people complaining it was broken and now they had spent 'six hundred dollars on a pretty piece of plastic'

I wish I could find the link and post it here.

P.S: The theme music is back on the japanese Sonic site, only it's now an instrumental tune.

The Wii doesn't have specs, dude. Just guess-work. The most accurate description we had for the longest time was "A souped up Xbox". And they were talking about the original Xbox. Not the 360.

Recently IBM said the Wii's main processor was only 20% more powerful than the standard Gamecube. That doesn't equal "three times stronger than a 360". Not by a long shot. If it was three times stronger than a 360? The Wii would cost $800!

Objection!

The Broadway cpu is 20% more energy efficient.
