Even Chao and Big were top contenders on that stupid poll,
from all the old characters to choose from Mighty was the only one to make it, 10th place..the last place.
But Mighty is just another Sonic clone, I bet some people thought he was Shadow.
And 80% think he has Super Strenght and that makes him the best, which in reality he is just a speedtype like Sonic, a Sonic clone.
Stupid Archie Comics.

Later seems more likely. Think about it logically. Super Sonic just wouldn't work on the normal stages, he'd be too uncontrollable.Anonymous wrote:OCB, will Super Sonic be fully playable? Or wll he just have a boring one level showdown like he always does nowadays?
Personal speculation here, but Super Sonic may be playable during normal stages in Wildfire. It makes sense if you consider the gameplay.

Very much so. The gameplay for Wildfire reminds me greatly of Star Fox 64. Going Super Sonic in that style of gameplay could essentially be an eternal Boost until you run out of rings. One Classy Bloke wrote:Personal speculation here, but Super Sonic may be playable during normal stages in Wildfire. If that's the case, expect a lot of jokes regarding Sonic and Peppy.

he isnt the only thing they mention thats isnt related to Sonic, the magazine editors didnt have somewhere else to put their garbage in thats what. Why is there an insert of Hard Gay in the Sonic article?
What does he have to do with Sonic?

I really didn't think the 3D version of the GHZ was that good. I play it a few times, it was all right, but you couldn't play it fast like you could back in the day, because both sides of the level were death traps. The exploration part was lame too because the camera made a lot of the platform hopping difficult if I remember correctly. Basically I couldn't do any of the things I used to enjoy about the level easily, and I can attribute most of that to the fact that it was 3D. No real amount of tweaking would make it better without pretty much abandoning the layout of the 2D stage.

This reflects some of our greatest complaints with Sonic lately - interacting with the enviroment is limited to standing on a switch and hitting a button to use moves that are pre-scripted eye candy instead of actual gameplay. Silver's play style seems suspiciously guilty of this. Here're some more scans, by the by.
Also, the writer of the article obviously hasn't played any of the Sonic games since S3K at least, since he seems absolutely shocked to see Sonic standing behind humans - despite the fact that's always been the state of affairs since SA, and before that in Japan as well.

Hopefully the inclusion of the Havok engine will make interaction with objects a bit more variable and more reliant on the actions of the player, instead of scripted sequences.Zeta wrote:This reflects some of our greatest complaints with Sonic lately - interacting with the enviroment is limited to standing on a switch and hitting a button to use moves that are pre-scripted eye candy instead of actual gameplay.
