You're gleaning all this hope from the character design? All I see is Sonic X's animators (using Sonic Battle's ugly angles and thick outlines) working for the same visionaries that have comfortably continued crapping out the same 'cutesy' drivel since Advance 2 with the anomalous exception of Shadow.Crazy Penguin wrote:Between the bland, darker than usual "realistic" images of SA2 and Shadow the Hedgehog and the cutesier than usual images of the other games (featuring Cream the Rabbit, Toy Kingdom, the power of teamwork, the power of friendship etc) it's nice to see some sanity return to the series.
Sonic Riders animé stuff?

Managed to see the intro and some of the artwork. I admit, the game didn't even phase me when I first heard about it. I'm generally getting sick and tired of playing racing games, but I admit, this is one Sonic game I'm fairly interested in. The anime intro is fairly decent. It feels like what I'd see if I drank too many kool-aids.
And I enjoy the artwork. It's got a "street" feel for a lack of word and despite my utter disdain for any new characters coming in Sonic games, the birds and their designs are rather intriging, especially the female and the Bean lookalike.
And I don't care what anyone of you say, I DO like goggles and am very disappointed Knuckles did not wear one in the anime intro...as far as I'm concerned.

I consider them different, at least in purpose. So yeah, men have breasts, in one sense of the word (the space between the neck and abdomen), but do not have mammary glands.
And unless I am very, very ignorant, the same can be said for birds. Thus, Wave's flat chest.
Anyway, Rouge has more than enough for the two of them.

Hmm, there is a new character called E-10000 in the game, but i'm pretty sure he was green in the version i saw.
I've also seen the final version of the anime opening, and it seems to have been directed by the guy who worked on the intros for Mushashi (PS2) and Capcom X Namco.
Btw, i think now is a good time to state that i recently got employed as a games tester at SOE.

Amen to that! She is the embodiment of the word squeezable....I bet if you could squeeze those things, the milk that came out would put Hurricane Katrina's floodage to shame...Senbei wrote: Anyway, Rouge has more than enough for the two of them.

Really? My dictionary defined mammary glands as being female, so I just assumed without any real evidence. Eh.Delphine wrote:Yes, they do. The Riders box art is pretty lame, but the logo does look quite snazzy. It's also italicized, which is new.
