You're gleaning all this hope from the character design? All I see is Sonic X's animators (using Sonic Battle's ugly angles and thick outlines) working for the same visionaries that have comfortably continued crapping out the same 'cutesy' drivel since Advance 2 with the anomalous exception of Shadow.

It looks like another new character has been revealed in some of the recent screenshots. You can see a robot character here and here.

No. The overall tone and style of the game presented in the movies and screenshots thus far.

Managed to see the intro and some of the artwork. I admit, the game didn't even phase me when I first heard about it. I'm generally getting sick and tired of playing racing games, but I admit, this is one Sonic game I'm fairly interested in. The anime intro is fairly decent. It feels like what I'd see if I drank too many kool-aids.

And I enjoy the artwork. It's got a "street" feel for a lack of word and despite my utter disdain for any new characters coming in Sonic games, the birds and their designs are rather intriging, especially the female and the Bean lookalike.

And I don't care what anyone of you say, I DO like goggles and am very disappointed Knuckles did not wear one in the anime intro...as far as I'm concerned.

I like the Babylon Rogues, they're viable characters as long as they stay street punk villains.

Agreed. I think I've got enough bad guy changes to good for one day. Babylon Rogue has a rather catchy name, too.

Breast =/= boobies. Technically, men have breasts, too.

I consider them different, at least in purpose. So yeah, men have breasts, in one sense of the word (the space between the neck and abdomen), but do not have mammary glands.

And unless I am very, very ignorant, the same can be said for birds. Thus, Wave's flat chest.

Anyway, Rouge has more than enough for the two of them.

Yes, they do. They normally don't develop fully for obvious reasons.

Not so true, with enough oestrogen men can indeed lactate, pretty scary.

Production I.G. made this, not TMS.

Hmm, there is a new character called E-10000 in the game, but i'm pretty sure he was green in the version i saw.

I've also seen the final version of the anime opening, and it seems to have been directed by the guy who worked on the intros for Mushashi (PS2) and Capcom X Namco.

Btw, i think now is a good time to state that i recently got employed as a games tester at SOE.

Knuckles the Echidna
With temper intact, Knuckles is as aggressive as ever, and ready to show Eggman he can't be fooled again. After he puts Eggman to shame, he'll head home to Angel Island to resume his watch over the precious Master Emerald.

Amen to that! She is the embodiment of the word squeezable....I bet if you could squeeze those things, the milk that came out would put Hurricane Katrina's floodage to shame...

First time I've seen those renders, so it probably is.

Looks better than the Shadow and Heroes boxes to me at least anyway. I see they're starting to push the 15th anniversary thing in advertising now.

I like the composition of the box art, but it should have used hand drawn illustrations not CGI. Wasteful.

Really? My dictionary defined mammary glands as being female, so I just assumed without any real evidence. Eh.

The Riders box art is pretty lame, but the logo does look quite snazzy. It's also italicized, which is new.

Probably because males aren't naturally functional.
