Now that I think about it, boobies are fairly common in games. Although Chun-li made it mainstream, even she wasn't the first. Asses are outright common, so the next logical step is full frontal. How much longer must we wait for a clear bush shot, and who will be the digital vixen to lead the way?

Although I imagine it would be pretty difficult to model a convincing set of polygonal pubes.

However, there is a reason. Those crazy over-repressed Japanese blur out all of the sex organs in EVERYTHING. Even actual pornography. It's this sort of sexual repression that problably leads to porno featuring girls getting raped by mutant tentacles.

Anyways, back on the subject of the kiddy-thing - see, the Japanese decided to censor adult reproductive organs in hentai. Of course, this shitty decision had an obvious flaw - they specified ADULT. Thus, there was an explosion of Shota (Little Boy) and Lolita (Little Girl) pornography. Those silly Japanese and their loopholes.

I honestly think that if they could just watch regular, un-blurred porn - 90% of the nation's erotic art would drop down to a more reasonable level - no more little girls having octopi exploit their orifices. Resident Evil can be pretty pervy.

That's from a Taito arcade game called Ohgon no Shiro (Gladiator in the US). It's a pretty tricky feat to achieve, so it's not likely many people witnessed it back in the day (and the ones who did would probably have no idea how they did it and would not be able to repeat the process, so none of their buddies would believe them anyway). And despite the fact that 1986 boobies with one-pixel nipples aren't particularly arousing, this is, to my knowledge, the first example of videogame nudity on a figure that is clearly identifiable as human. (This was also about the time strip mahjong games started showing up, though the digitized art in most of those was hideous until well into the 90's.)

Incidentally, Ohgon no Shiro is as bad as it looks.

There was quite a bit of nekkid boobies in the Gowcaizer anime, not to mention ass shots and even hints of pubic hair in Shaia's shower scene. Of course, the Gowcaizer game is awful, so it's hard to imagine how it ever got popular enough to warrant an anime, but... Obari sure gets away with alot...

Back in the day, a guy told me that there was a special move Orchid could do in the original Killer Instinct where she flashed the opposition. When you have defeated your opponent and the background is red (announcer saying "danger"), stand about four body spaces away and press enter Back(2), Forward(2), Quick Punch. If done correctly, Orchid will turn her back to you and open her shirt. The opponent's eyes will pop out and he or she will fall down.

I think it was. My friend played that game a ton and he typically played with Orchid. He could do some retarded 37 hit combo. He started it when they were half dead and they were way more than dead by the time it was done. Pretty crazy shit, I just figured if he could do that with her then he knew all the moves. I could be wrong though.
