If he isn't, I'm going to TMS and viciously executing each and every one of them. Along with Sonic Team, SEGA, and all their relatives, friends and pets.

If Metal is in it but has a gay helium voice like Gamma did in the dub, then I'll just plain cry.
At first I was going to object to your murderous rampage against Tokyo Movie Shinro, but then I remembered "Lupin III Part III".

Eeeevil.

There were a handful of really, really great episodes, and if those had been the only ones made, it could have been a hell of a 13-episode series. The first episode, the assault on Eggman's island base, Knuckles trip to China, the battle with Perfect Chaos... awesome stuff. But it's hard to enjoy your chocolate cake when it's burried under a pile of shit.

I just created a new expression!
And a lovely expression it is.

Crude, but lovely.

Whatcha talkin' about, that baseball epsiode was classic!

No matter how I try to analyze it, it never fails to strike me as a generic kiddie anime

What you expect it to be? about boobs?

The English Sonic X sucks monkey balls, no one with a normal brain should like it.

Then consider me to not have a normal brain. Yes, I LIKE the damn dub, damn it. YES, I have seen the original japanese show, damn it! Yes, I am sick and tired of people saying anyone who even so much as LIKE the dub let along watch it, we're considered the stupidest person alive, damn it! End of discussion on my part...damn it!

The dubbing may suck, but I still prefer the English version somewhat due to the altered soundtrack. The Japanese version seemed to only have about a dozen themes which got switched around whenever it fit. Don't think there was more than two or three episodes that had a single unique piece of music. Doesn't fit to have the music from the big climactic battle with Super Sonic versus Perfect Chaos tossed in whenever there's a minor conflict in episodes to come.

And remember, kids, all people who generalise are morons.

I remember watching Sonic X once or twice when it first aired on Fox Kids (UK TV channel, that shows bad anime dubs). To be fair, it was okay: the plot, was generally good, a nice mix of both Adventure games; you got to see Sonic and Knuckles fight (who hasn't wanted to see that?); and, it's got Sonic in it. But then there's Chris...

What a mistake. I mean, it wouldn't be quite as bad if the ENTIRE fucking plot centred around him.
Sonic: "Where's Chris?"
Tails: "Eggman captured him, why not get the Chaos Emerald instead?"
Sonic: "Nah, I should save Chris."
(Sonic then speeds off to save Chris and destroy a machine with a stupid name that was copied from Thunder Birds).

I mean, it's like they try there best to make sure that Chris either "saves the day," or is captured, and thus be rescued. Like I said, I only saw the first four or five episodes, maybe it got better; then again, probably not. Although I remember Fox Kids constantly showing the first episode again and again, did they even get past episode 5 without repeating the start again?
