Holy War
A hot dog is like a canvas for condiments. Except for one, which has absolutely no business on or anywhere near a proper, God-fearing frank.

Mustard. Or honey mustard. Or chili.

Re: Holy War
Of course I don't have ketchup on my hot dogs.
I have tomato sauce.

Re: Holy War
I have everything. Ketchup, mustard, onions, relish, cheese sauce, bacon, honey mustard if they got it, fucking pickles, jalapenos, chili sauce... and so on.
Nothing wrong with ketchup. I will admit that it pales in comparison to HP brown sauce.

Re: Holy War
Everyone who votes yes to ketchup is being banned.
Just so you know.
Not that I dislike ketchup, mind - it's just a matter of mathematical fact that it doesn't belong on a hot dog in any capacity.

Re: Holy War
But ketchup can make anything taste delicious... If you can soak brussel sprouts in ketchup and make them taste good, then surely the condiment has a place on hog-entrail logs.

Re: Holy War
There is no room for argument on this point. The very notion of ketchup on a hot dog goes against the fabric of space-time. There are mathematical proofs that will verify this.

I feel the same way about mayonnaise on sandwiches. It's an unfortunate position to be in.

Re: Holy War
I usually just put ketchup on mine. I like them with chili and cheese too.
I hate mustard and relish though.

Re: Holy War
I'm not a big fan of hot dogs in general. I always seem to regret eating one about 7/8ths of the way through.

I'm talking fractions; are you talking multiple hot dogs? If so, then you are a braver man than I.Segaholic2 wrote:I usually begin to regret it on my 4th or 5th.
