I remember the time we were checking the official site's updates day after day (on weekdays). How awesome the game looked like back then... little did I know that, a year and a half later, I still WOULDN'T have a Wii. Bummer.

I still haven't unlocked Ganondorf. It's not the playing through on Hard thing that puts me off, it's that every time I get to him he fucking Falcon Punches me off the screen and I have to waste another fifteen fucking minutes playing through so I can have another fucking go. Also, getting trophies is bullshit. Also also, I refuse to build five sucky stages in order to get the ability to build mediocre stages.

I have no patience.

Hey, I'm game: 1419 2338 1120

Someone must rob me of my Smash virginity immediately. I've only played the game twice since I got it, that's just how long it took for me to lose interest in fighting against the CPU. Meanwhile, my 9 year-old nephew has already unlocked everything for me, so that's pretty cool.

I do, very much so. (Mostly for the online, I get very little lag playing with friends from Great Britain unless I have BitTorrent running)

Brawl's biggest flaw was that Melee was just so damn good that there wasn't all that much to improve upon. Also the Subspace 1 player game dragged on a bit too much and was fairly bland.

It was a bigger, prettier version of Melee with more STUFF in it. That's good enough for me. What else is there to do with the series?

I hate how you get multiple random trophies in the gumball / shooting minigames. They should've had one each, given out in a random order.

I'm guilty of building ten stages with maybe a block or two, in order to get all the parts.

At least in the gumball machine, you could grind for coins (running back-and-forth as Captain Falcon has never been so fun!) so you could place abnormally large bets and be GUARANTEED a new trophy. In Brawl, even with those coins you grinded for, you're not guaranteed that you'll see any new trophies, or if you do, that you're going to get them (might just miss it, or run out of ammo, or what have you). Hell, it doesn't even distinguish between a new trophy and an old one until you put down the coins to get it, which is rather annoying.

No, no, not trophies -- Stickers! I've had this goddamn game for over a year and still don't have the all little buggers. I have over 50 tennis racket-weilding Boos, and not one of the two I'm still missing.

And no, there is no sticker that raises the chance of getting a new sticker.

Last I remember I had 300 something "Boo (Mario Tennis)". But I made a sticker factory, so.

I liked the coin shooter! Never tried the Melee counterpart but it sounds as excruciatingly bad as the figurine dispenser in Zelda: Minish Cap. I guess it's a royal pain in the ass if your memory sucks, but I enjoyed it. God knows my eyes shot lasers when Mew got away for the second time.

I also don't get all the adversity for the adventure game. I enjoyed it, and it was a simple enough way to unlock all the characters (though I did unlock Marth first, beating Classic was my first accomplishment). Maybe you just need to turn Tap Jump off and play it more like, well, that Dragon Ball game for the GBA!

It's easier because getting coins is easier than getting shells, plus you just have to press a button and not talk to someone, then go over to the machine, pull the level, watch the animation of the egg bouncing etc.

Fun fact, Minish Cap is the only Zelda game I have 100% completed, including all Kinstone fusions and figurines.

I like Brawl. I haven't gotten all the trophies still, but I haven't been trying. It's still fun to play a few rounds with friends. It was game of the year material to me, seeing as it was the best game to come out for Wii last year, and that was the main system I played.

But then again Wii didn't have the greatest year last year.

It's having an even worse year this year, to be honest. I swear the only notable game coming out is Punch-Out!!, and that would hardly be a system-seller.

Yeah, yeah, Madworld, HotD and The Conduit... looks somewhat interesting but not too keen on, never really was interested in rail shooters, and looks incredibly generic and dull, respectively.

I actually have everything in Brawl unlocked except ONE random sticker and one trophy (the sticker trophy, which I get when I get all the stickers). It's been like that for months and I wonder why I never bothered to try to get the last two prizes to get a complete save; you'd think I'd be, "I'm almost there dammit!" but for some reason I'm apathetic.

Anyway, Ritz, I guess I'll swap friend codes. 5370-0096-4113. But unless you schedule a time to play in your next post, it's unlikely we'll ever see eachother.

Ok, so 2 days after mentioning not having a Wii, I end up getting one after a weird string of coincidences. Irony can be very sweet sometimes.
So... how do I find my Friend Code? The only code I found so far has 16 digits.

IIRC, that's it. In the Address Book (which you can access by checking the calendar, IIRC) lists your Wii's FC, which is either 12 or 16 digits long. And that's just your Wii's code - for every game you own, get ready to swap a completely different code. Welcome to the cumbersome Friend Code system, we have T-shirts.

So it's either 12 or 16 digits? I guess I've found it, then. Thanks!

Anyway, mine's 2778-9527-3827-5027. Now, to the rather bothersome task of searching everyone else's in the forum.

The 16 digit code is only your Wii code, and it's only good to send text messages, pictures, Miis, or gifts from the Wii Shop Channel. It's also only good if both parties have eachother's code. For every other game you want to play with your friends, you have a totally different friend list in which you must again exchange codes, 12 digits this time.

I never got a T-shirt. Are they free?

Brazillian Cara, don't take it personal or anything, but I have no plans on adding you unless you explicitly tell me you're going to add me. Most of my friend code address book is filled with people from The GHZ, and Cookooguy is the only one who ever actually put my code in.

There's also Wii Sports Resort... and Silent Hill.

Well, I've added you hours ago, so... yeah. (no offense taken) In fact, I've added all the Wii codes posted on the the "Mii to Mii Friends" topic, and I've got the (surprisingly very few) SSBB codes written too, even tough I should only get the game next month. From all the "regulars", the only ones I didn't find yet are Zeta's and J-Man's. And Ritz's.
