You really can't. Unless you're talking about Sonic 06, in which case you really can't.
Why did you not reply with another SA2 quote :(

Pretty sure he was referring to Sonic's cheesy line before fighting Shadow in SA2.

PS - Shit, I never notice when the comments roll over to another page.

"I think you're the fake hedgehog around here!"

Said the bipedal, black and red hedgehog capable of moving at/faster than the speed of sound (which is it?).

As fast as sound, pre-Chaos Control, and faster than sound, post-Chaos control. Unless you get Speed-Up boots. Then I don't know how fast Shadow goes. I don't think I want to.

Also, for cheese-erific SA2 quotes...

"Ugh! I'm the coolest!"

I'm surprised no one took a shot at "Hay where's my team?!".

Oh dear, now I've gone too far.

"Look at all those Eggman's robots!" will probably forever be my favorite 3D Sonic quote... right up there with "Hi, I'm Daisy!"

It's been too long since I've played the story of SA2 for me to quote it off the top of my head.

I haven't played Sonic Adventure 2 for over a year. What scares me is that I STILL remember its obscure quotes. It demonstrates how skewed my priorities are.

We're poking fun at a series starring a blue hedgehog. I think the time to worry about priorities came and went.

You're gonna regret starting this fight!

We did it! Let's go, Amy!
Now, this is the beginning of the greatest empire of all time!
I have six of them, they're all mine!

Did I ever tell you, that Shadow is a Robot?
Get rid of these pests! Show them what you've got!
Heh, give it your best shot.
Some nerve promising what you ain't got.

I betcha you're the ones who took Chocola-Chao!
Did you see it? Where is it now?
That's the same monster I saw the other day.
Hey, we can't let him get away!

I thought that the capsule you were in exploded in space.
If that's what you thought, you should've given me them in the first place!
Metal Sonic has finally transformed!
Gee. I'm bored.

Vector, take care of this rock.
Just leave that to me, doc.
Very well, if that's how you wanna play, I will take it from you!
I'm going to try my best, too!

Argh! Hey, no fair!

This time there's no way out of marrying me!
Hey! It's just a stupid copy!

We never turn down work that pays!
I'll find Eggman and put a stop to his evil ways.
Guess that Eggman was a fake after all.
Time to rock and roll!

She never gives up, does she?
But what about our money?
I can pay handsomely.
Keep your hands to yourself; don't touch me!
Come on, tell me you weren't scared!
What's the matter? You're only halfway there!

What's this? But how?
You tell me why you want it. Now!
Please, Mr. Robot. Won't you help us, please?!
Yeah, you know our policy!

Drats! A trap to stall for time!
Hey! That's my line!
Please be careful with our only clue.
But why can't I defeat you?

Anytime you want a rematch, just let me know.
Because, we're SONIC HEROES!

How can this be included without any "Hand over those Master Emeralds. Give them to me!"

Although I can't remember many of the exact lines, I love the little idle conversations that the teams have in Sonic Heroes when you don't touch the controls for a minute or so. Especially Vector's "Damn. I forgot to pay the bills at the office." (heavily paraphrased) The odd thing is that most of this little small talk sounds more natural and convincing than much of the game's main diologue...

...Wasn't this topic about Sonic and the Black Knight originally?

PROTIP: When you have an off moment as Team Dark, switch to power formation, use the right stick to go into first-person view, and point it at Rouge for a few seconds. And watch.

Coincidentally, Takeshi Sakikibara's the lead programmer of Heroes, and Rouge is said to be his favorite character...

Don't forget his quip where he states that "Our client sure has a thing for chao"- it's really nice to have canonical confirmation of Eggman's chao fetish. It deserves an entry on the GHZ Encyclopedia.

Is he holding what i think hes holding? well its not like I didn't see it coming after it was the only thing those stands sold on Unleashed.

Bleh, I care about Sonic even less now...now without Naka the last official member all boundaries are lost and alliance with SoA's and SoE's brainfarts has begun.

Honestly, I don't see how the giant mideval landscapes Sonic is supposed to run through aren't supposed to have at least occasional piles of horse poop.

Let unabashed cynicism commence...

Iizuka wasn't an "official member"?

Also, you're bitching about the chili dog? Seriously? That's the game's one redeeming factor, right there. You've been around for over two years or so and you still can't get your priorities straight when it comes to bitching.

Oh... A chili dog? So THAT'S what's in Sonic's hands... I honestly thought it was a couple of steaming logs somebody photoshoped in, because it looked rather brown due to the shading. Hence the horse poop comment. How ridiculous of me.

I actually hope Sega Europe and/or America take the reins soon. It would be nice to have the games made by the part of the company that isn't totally apathetic about the character. I think I can take a couple more extreeeeeme sports tie-ins.

Yeah, we really need some Freedom Fighters thrown into a fairy tale-inspired, one-dimensional and unarguably canonical Sonic game.

What have Freedom Fighters got to do with anything? I'm talking Sonic Adventure 2 here, man. It's a well-known fact (that I heard upon the internet) that us Western folk care more for Sonic than his home country, so it'd be interesting to see what a different branch of the company, representing a different audience, would come up with, given control over the series.
