Cheap laughs at someone else's expense

BLASPHEMY.

This actually made me laugh out loud on several occasions. I just had to share it with you.

They even made fun of it at the GameFAQs messageboard. That's pretty shameful.

Well, what makes them (read: us) any different from you? You're here 'cause you like Sonic, they're (read: we're) there 'cause they (read: we) like video games. Not to mention, a lot of them (read: us) are actually there just for shits and giggles. They're (read: we're) not all glasses-wielding dorks or something. We're into Metallica and Family Guy and all that.

I love how he comments on the graphics of a game that came out 10 years before he wrote the review. He didn't say they were good for the time or anything.

What the hell is Mario Luigi 1?

If you look at his other reviews, it appears the guy's just trying to be funny. Like purposely writing bad fanfiction or something.

I mean, holy shit, he gave Moonwalker a 9/10.

Hey, I have fond memories of that game. I even played it once.

Sonic 1 was never about having a different attack on every button (uh, obviously...), it was about clever level design that made those three carbon-copy buttons WORK THEIR ASSES OFF.

Ahhh, I remember this. His Sonic 2 review isn't much better. And, c'mon, Moonwalker came out when MJ was still relatively popular and, well, somewhat normal. It's a bit unfair to compare it to him now...

That doesn't make the Moonwalker game any less crappy though.

I liked it when MJ turned into this big Gundam thing and you got to shoot Joe Pesci a bunch. That was kickass.

Have you seen the film? There's this one bit where some guys are chasing Jacko and Jacko tells the kids to hide or something but then he gets cornered, but he wishes on a shooting star and transforms into a high-tech car. That movie was batshit insane.

Maybe it was a subtle allegory for Jacko's obsession with plastic surgery?

I think I'll lean towards it was batshit insane, though.

Oh yeah Moonwalker...

Quick! Grab the bolt of lightning so he can become RoboMJ and all the zombies can dance to the same beat! *Smooth Criminal plays* zombies try to dance but fail and DIE!

...and if that's not bad enough the goal of the game is to save children... yes.

That whole dancing during the smooth criminal was the best thing ever. I crack up everytime I see him shoot that quarter across the room. Another awesome part that I'm not sure happened or if I'm imagining it was when he turned into a car and then drove really fast. The giant robot was cool, he saved the day by screaming.

The game's cool too, I always bust up laughing at his face in between levels. All it does is scream.

Shit yeah, it's so awesome. It's, like, staple viewing whenever me and my buddies get stoned, along with classics like Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and anything with Adam Sandler in it.
