We'd change the slogan to that, but, well.Neo wrote:Nothing happens. Like everything on this forum.

Can we change the forum logo first? It's still so... vanilla.

Re: New Slogan!
I'm pretty sure this was a slogan in the past but what about "I'm looking for sailors"?

Sonic will never be as big as he was before, Sonic team died, Sega is letting other companies do Sonic games and so on...

Arcade, there's a famous phrase you should probably remember. As I recall, it goes "it is better to shut up and appear stupid, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."
The latter of which, by the way, you just did. That has to be the most off-topic blurt I've ever seen from you (and considering how you post, that's saying something).

I believe that was intended as a forum slogan suggestion.

I love it when Arcade posts. Or, more precisely, I love it when people react to Arcade's posts.

You must admire their spirit, though. Segasonic/Dasher and Nova/Arcade never let the constant criticism discourage them, and on the rare occasion that they even acknowledge the caustic laugh at their expense they're always very peaceful and carefree about it.

Sorry, but the abuse that they've put up with is just on another level entirely. You might be able to get the door prize for most consistently bizarre taste in games, though.

Re: New Slogan!
As long as we are drifting of topic, i just wanted to ask, what is the name of that user here who always used to rant about how the "SegaSonic" version of Sonic is the only real one and how all non-video game representations of Sonic are "unofficial"? I dont think i've seen him here in a while, but im pretty sure he is the same person who used to visit the Sonic Zone forums under the name "Sonic The Hedgehog TM". A dead give away of his identity is his tendency to OVERUSE CAPITAL LETTERS and go on forever about how SONIC X IS NOT CANON, SONIC WAS ALWAYS ON EARTH, THE ORIGINAL SONIC 1 MANUAL SAID SO!".
I dont know why i ask really, the thought just popped into my head just now. Although i've been a user here for three years, my very infrequent visits (coupled with the fact that my inability to remember people certifiably borders on some kind of mental illness) means that i still cant recognize more than a handfull of the people here.

Re: New Slogan!
That's the guy alright. I like him, cause he reminds me of our days at the Sonic Zone forum. Ah, good times. The majority of users there were 13 years olds that considered Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (they never, ever, ever simply called it Sonic Adventure 2) to be the crowning jewel of the series, and Cream to be the series greatest character (and made no secret of the fact that they wished to do to her exactly what her name suggests, even if they never really put it that way). *Sigh* Why can't you people be more like that, so that i can seem like a real old-school bitter retrofag by comparison?
Oh by the way, i have a suggestion for slogan: "Sonic the Hedgehog; way past cool! In fact, he past it well over a decade ago".

I voted for the "Pork and Beans" suggestion, but "Get a loada, get a loada, get a load of this!" definitely gets my write-in ballot.

“I NEVER GET WHAT I WANT” would fit nicely, too.Jingles wrote:How about "I WANT ROCKY ROAD ICE CREAM!"
