If it's any consolation, my current favourite games magazine uses a ten point system, but has 5 as the true average, denoting a game that is neither so good it makes you run screaming into the street singing "Halycon! Veloria! Oh most profound of joys!", nor so bad that your brain crawls down the interior of your spine and escapes from your rectum in search of pastures new.

Something like that. Anyway, it's called GamesTM and if you see it you should check it out. End product placement.

Holy fuck, kids, they're only arbitrary numbers people pull out of their asses anyways. If I decide that Sonic Heroes deserves a 3/57 and FFVII deserves a 38/42 and Xenogears deserves a 1.93786854653476574675434536575987846575867 out of 2, then that's just what it fucking <i>is</i>. Eesh.
