Is the bulborb life-sized (what are they, the size of a large potato?) or is it scaled up some?

Scaled up, but I have the trial version of the Creature Creator from BT, and you can make your creatures pretty different in size. Even with only 1/4th of the parts, I've been able to make some pretty unique . . . things. Like a 20-foot tall totem pole with eight arms and a monofoot.

I'm not a big PC expert, but I think its mainly my video card?..if I play games on it some effects or graphics aren't shown and it runs slow.

My PC is a conjunction of different cheap pieces.

I am all over this game. Well, I will be once I get the new video card I'm ordering today.

Also, Zeta's spiral creature is awesome.

I don't really have any desire to actually play the full Spore, but the creature creator looks like a good way to kill a few hours.
