The compression of the Jpeg doesn't quite do it justice (and the fact that my scanner is not up for scanning so I had to take a photo).

Nice. I'm not sure why, but I get a PSO feeling from it.

I had no idea such a game existed, is it any good? It looks like the kind of thing that I must try.
Actually inspiration for the picture came after looking at some Metroid Prime 3 concept art of Elysian machines. I thought it would be neat to come up with a Camera-bot, and then I decided it should be wandering the earth fulfilling its destiny, which would logically be taking photographs.

It's probably the best side-scrolling-shooter-in-which-you-control-a-bird that I've ever played!
Seriously, though, I think it was supposed to be decent.

Actually, Kolibri is often considered the best hummingbird-based side-scroller shooter for the 32X .
It's a tight genre.
Heheh that's some awesome Confucious. That single quote I've followed through the letter.

I love your art and I love drawings of classic levels as immersive environments. This is another, to beat the phrase to death, massive win.

You already did LZ once- but if you managed to keep the same quality, I don't see why you couldn't do the same stage over and over again.
OR, that other one was a shot from Act 1. One way or another, great stuff.

I especially like the differing water levels in foreground and background. What's with the column of white on the right, though?

Dude, I love your Sonic 1 series. It's actually inspired a few (unposted) art pieces of mine. I love the attention you pay to all the details in the original game. It's so easy to draw Sonic, Eggman, and a few checkered hillsides and call it a rendition of Sonic 1; your pics go so much further than that.
BTW, if you ever took this series all the way to Sonic 2, 3, and Knuckles, I'd probably die. Haha, just kidding. But seriously.
