Actually, no, I don't have to take an english or history class. The general english requirement is completely waived due to my AP scores in English. The History is waived because I'm in honors college so I don't have to take the normal "well rounded" route. Sure I have to take social studies classes, but it's shit like psychology and criminal justice. Oh yeah, and no foreign language either. That kicks major ass as well.
