Dreamcast VGA Box

Post by Opa-Opa »

I want to buy a vgabox, but it's nearly impossible to find it here, so I'll probably have to import it. Any suggestions?

I'll guess you're using a PAL-M Dreamcast, maybe you should check somewhere if it'll work properly with an American VGA Adapter Box (I suppose it will) or if you need to go for an European one.

Other than that, you can find third-party ones for as much as US$ 30, 'cause the official one usually goes for some 100 bucks, so... good luck.

EDIT: Talking about bargains...

I have a 3rd part VGA box I could sell you, but it's at my apartment, and I won't be there until August. If you still need it then, I'll let it go for a pittance and whatever shipping to Brazil requires.

Bo, that would be perfect, because if I get it now, Ecco, Shenmue and Rez will join together kick my ass making me fail my semester and lose freelance jobs.

Last time I checked ebay you could get a third party one for pretty freaking cheap, this was a good 12 million years ago though. I'm too lazy to check again and I assume you already did.

There are some, yes, but they are too cheap-looking, and I never used eBay, which makes me a bit unconfortable.

Bo, are you still up for it? I recently got a nice LCD screen and I'm dying to play Rez in it.
