Assuming that this isn't a hoax this is what we would have gotten post spinball. The gameplay looks kinda shit for Sonic, but if this is true, "Whoa..."
EDIT: Yuji Naka kinda seems like a douche. Then again - thats something I've heard before....many times

It looks like a CD-i game.
Seriously, I'm almost tempted to say I wouldn't be surprised to start such a game up and see Sonic stretching and rambling "GEE, IT SURE IS BORING AROUND HERE!"
Seeing Sally respond with "MAH BOI, THIS PEACE IS WHAT ALL TRUE FREEDOM FIGHTERS STRIVE FOR" would be a little... hard to conceive, actually.

Yeah, but where's the fun in an area where you just run fast? Might as well have dash pads. Sonic-brand speed is part running, part dodging/attacking shit. That's what gets the adrenaline pumping. This game's M.O. seems to be "stop and attack". A 2D Heroes, if you will.DBurraki wrote:To be fair (...) I think part of the slowness comes from the fact that the level's design wasn't very speed friendly (small platforms, nooks, crannies and etc). If there was a long straight away maybe he'd of been able to pick up speed.
