Prince's acclaimed performance included a guitar solo during the "Purple Rain" segment of his medley in which his shadow was projected onto a large, flowing beige sheet. As the 48-year-old rock star let rip, the silhouette cast by his figure and his guitar (shaped like the singer's symbol) had phallic connotations for some.
Are people ultra sensitive these days, or is it just me?
He's probably just noting how sensitive people have become after the "b00b seen 'round the world" incident that was Janet Jackson's performace a few years ago...

There's a difference between a late-night TV show and a live broadcast that hasn't just been okay'd for all ages, but 'tis a widespread tradition for families to watch. Stack that on top of the fact that we had a nipple one year, and everyone's paranoid, and everyone wants to be the next whistle-blower.
BUT AT LEAST I SURE IS OUTRAGED THAT THEY LET TEH GAYS ON TV!!!1
