My only hint is to think outside the box. This is truely a triumph of level design in every way despite its simplicity.

I made a game like this once. It was an RPG. In the first town alone, there were 20-something ways for you to instantly die. My game was funnier.

I made it to the first boss. I think it would be pretty fun if there were checkpoints. Lots of them. Like, after every puzzle.

Is there anyone here who managed to resist the temptations of that sign? I mean, you know you aren't supposed to touch it, but how can you say no to something that blinks? I think I clicked on it twice for emphasis.

Also, that afro bear battle is such bullshit. I managed to beat it once, but I had died immediately before my last shot connected, so it didn't really count for much. I've got a report to write, but I just can't seem to tear myself away from this game long enough to get anything done. Not until I've had my just revenge.

I think Joystiq posted an article about this game awhile back with an embedded youtube video showing all the cheap deaths and how to actually make it though. Seemed kinda lame to me, basically trial and error not skill.
