I just want a game where it feels like I'm flying around, having fun in a cool world. Astro Boy actually came kinda close, but I don't care what franchise it would be - NiGHTs, zippo the flying squirrel.

I would expect a port or remake before a sequel. NiGHTS is probably Sega's most wanted port. It's strange that they'd waste their time with PC versions of everything and leave their most acclaimed title on an obscure, decade old console. Are those PC versions really equitable?

But even the prospects for a port are pretty bleak unless a lot of people were recently fired. Judging from Sonic 360, Sonic the Hedgehog GBA, and stories from OCB, it looks like Sega's managerial structure is completely broken or some kind of office politic is preventing work from being done right.

From what we've seen, problably both. I'd say SEGA's staff is equally comprised of "Old Boy" producers with egos too big who see Sega's past aside from Sonic as untouchable masterpieces which must never see the light of day and inept out of touch marketing excutives trying to figure out exactly what is "cool" to the "kids these days" (Hedgehogs with guns? Right?).

The new NiGHTS game would be better if they gave NiGHTS an uzi.

Just a suggestion.

Well, yeah, sometimes the best solution is the simplest.

But I think I'd have to avoid a Sonic game which follows that course of action.

I actually had a huge crush on Claris at one point. I'd carry a little picture of her in the back of my sketchbook, occasionally pausing throughout the day to stare at it longingly.

The saddest part is that this is 100% true. The one redeeming factor is that I was like eight years old at the time.

Claris and Elliot look really disturbing and dead-eyed in all the game's CG artwork... like frightening anime-styled versions of the Polar Express maniquins. *Shudder*

I like how Spaz and Manny Galan drew them in the first Archie comic, though!

In Japan, if you're over the age of 12 and are prominently featured in anything, you must have a large rack. It's not just an idea. It's a law.

I've seen plenty of well-stacked 15 year olds. I try not to look at them nowadays, of course. That would just be weird.

Also, I swear we've had this exact conversation before.

Fucking bovine growth hormones, we have well stacked 12 year olds here. Let's hope no Japanese game designers happen to be on patrol.
