The best part of DK64 was the multiplayer, in my opinion. Holy hell that was some good times.
Back to the original discussion: I agree with the whole "Tooie was way too big and far too much crap was happening at the same time" thing, I got lost very often as what I had to do next in that game.
It was much better when each jiggy had its own puzzle, totally unrelated to the other events. [For complexity in that regard, making the pyramids appear in Gobi Desert or feeding that god forsaken Eagle in Click Clock Wood is all you need.]
Hopefully BK3 [wow I'm lazy] will take a page from the first game again.
[Ah crud, I have to buy a 360 to play it...]
