you do know that you have 100% pure control over voice pitch?

It's not without its faults. Over all though I am very pleased with it.
One of my biggest gripes however is the amount of times they reuse bosses (by putting different skins on them true to sonic team style). Some of the bosses are amazing though. The two headed dragon is suprisingly animated well (as opposed to its one headed retard cousin that shuffles around like a moron) and the fight with the mutated magashi is fantastic. The final boss is disappointing though sorry.

oh yeah and vehicles are ok. They're slightly lame but if everyone can use them in online mode it has potential to be swell.

I just saw the intro sequence on GameTrailers and I'm beggining to think this game will suck. At least the single player part, which is the one I'm supposedly interested.

*sigh*. Back to the Master System.

the story mode is ok. The motion capture animations are god awful and the characters sound and move ridiculously as gamespy pointed out in a test run. To truely be able to stomach or enjoy the single player mode you have to look at it as if it's an extra feature. It is in no way comparable to a real rpg in terms of depth or character development. There are some nice moments but most of it is pretty dumb. Just dont expect something top notch and you'll be fine.

This sucks. I'll never be able to play on multiplayer. All I wanted was a decent Phantasy Star game that didn't revolve in a 3d rendition of Diablo.

fundamentally, the gameplay is VERY similar to PSO. Don't forget that this is basically just the update all PSO fans have been really wanting. Sonic Team doesn't realize that if you're playing with a character that will never see the light of day online (extra mode, or as I call it "tease mode") then you don't care about building up the character. In PSO, even if you never planned to go online, there was still the potential of doing so or playing multiplayer with friends. Extra and single player mode are truely lonely and isolated worlds that won't make you have any interest in customizing your character, much less Ethan Webber.

So if you play single player mode offline, you can't on online with that player? That sucks.

Do you at least have more options to customize, or is the full set of options not available in the beta version?

Yes, you can never take an extra mode char online. I'm not quite sure what your question means. I'm referring to the complete import version, not the beta.
