Sonic Time Travel
Untold moons ago, I invaded this site, twisting the shape of things with my foul magic...
and a few of my earlier posts were right here, discussing an update on the Sonic time travel idea from Sonic CD. This time travel idea has resurfaced in my brain, and I was wondering if there are any artistic people out here, such as G. Silver, who would try their hand at the pasts, futures, and good futures of the various zones in Sonic 1, 2, 3, and K. They could be either hand-drawn or made on a computer by editing scenes from said zones. Fire away!
Oh, and here are some of the musics which I plucked from VGMusic. If anyone has any better selections for the zones which I covered, or any selections at all for the zones I didn't cover, they could post them as well.

All crystal clear to me, sounds quite interesting too.
Basically, Jenkins wants some artistic itterations of alternate versions of zones, similar to the way some of us have drawn Sonic in zones already.
I might be up for it, but as I'm in Leeds from tomorrow to Monday, don't expect anything too soon. But I'm very interested in Chemical Plant as it's already mechanised, time to put imagination to the test.

This is the best idea Ive heard since Sonic CD! I can help designing some Levels if times allows.
For example,
Flying battery Bad Future: out of control dark ship fliying over a burning city at great speed, and the ship has some small sections with fire too!
Flying battery Good Future: white clean ship flying over water and stuff.
Flying Battery Past: on the ground maybe on Mushroom hill? or where ever it was built.
After listening to all these wonderful songs, It made me realize that good Music in a game is one if not the most important element. It helps set the mood, setting and enthusiasm. same with VA's.

I was pondering on chemical plant so here goes with explanations on the illustrations I'm thinking of.
Past:
Chemical Plant is known for long tubes and inclines so why not be set in a marshy forest with a swamp (no air bubbles though).
Kind of like Green Forest.
Good Future:
The place is like a marshland with machinery that pumps fresh water to the city in the distance. King of like Aquatic Ruin, but with machinery instead of ruins.
Past:

Dude, those are great ideas. Especially the Good Future...it seems Chemical Plant is redeemed! Also, the past would explain the abundance of "chemical" in the region, sort of like coal and oil forests in our world.
A rough idea of mine, still in development, for Star Light GF: the dingy buildings in the "nearest" layer of background would be spruced up, glassy, and well-lit, perhaps with window gardens. Also, a general increase in the number of streetlights, and a decrease in those flame turrets. Where they did still exist, perhaps they could be replaced with fountains. And lastly, the deep blue of the background would shift to a blue-purple (still dark, of course) and shrubbery would adorn the highway.
