Why does that Shinobi character use a scarf either?

Also, since you're a girl, I won't make any commentaries about you wanting Rikku-sama to use a shirt and cover her deliciously-designed CG meat... err, body (accidentally filtered heterosexual design); as GG! would probably say, "NEKKID BOOBIES!!"

Rikku doesn't have boobies. . .

Anyway, not that I'm against fanservice and seeing cute girls in skimpy outfits, but you have to admit that outfit she's wearing is ridiculous.

Because Shinobi is a fucking ninja. If Rikku were to start running up walls and slashing up hordes of enemies in an instant, she could keep her stupid scarf.

I still don't see why a ninja needs a scarf, regardless of what you said. It's still incredibly stupid.

Personally, I find most RPG character designs to suck or, at best, to be uninspired. What do you consider good character designs then in a RPG, Delphine?

Though not RPG related, I can't be the only one who thought this character is pretty ugly:

Actually, that is pretty horrendous. I can't stand how she's trying to be, like, four things at once; prissy village girl, haughty evil mistress, then there's the whole wing/tail thing. Reminds me of those people you see in Ragnarok Online that suffocate themselves with accessories only for the stat bonuses they give, only to wind up looking like freaking clowns.

That...has got to be the biggest freakin' bow I've ever seen and the wings are complete overkill.

Is there anyone else here who can't stand final fantasy characters? FFXI has some of the blandest and souless looking designs I have ever seen.

You do realize you have Sora in your avatar, right? Mind you, KH2 Sora actually looks somewhat normally dressed compared to the first game.

That is Sora's Gay Gaze. I had to use it.

I don't exactly expect greatness from the KH series, anyways. It's crackalicious, but that's about it.

Actually, I rather like the design on that anime whatever girl in the middle, just not that hula hoop she's wearing...or at least I think it's attached to her. Normal designs are fine, but in most cases, they're far too boring for me, especially when I'm drawing outfits and the likes. That said, I don't think I go too over the top as Nomura has done though.

That person in the middle?

Actually, that looks like Bridget from Guilty Gear.

Who, incidentally, is not a girl.

Ah Bridget. The shota-con wet dream and the lola-con's nasty surprise. What sort of a world would we be in without a little boy dressed up as a nun?

Not one I want to live in.

You sure it's not because of it is the fact that Falcoon drew it?

Oh, was that fanart (Is Falcoon a fanartist or professional?)? I didn't know, actually; I found it on a site which had a lot of high quality videogame artwork (kawaiidream.net), and to my knowledge, none of the images in the videogame section were fanart. I guess I could find another image of Dizzy, but the fact stands that not only does she have long blue hair, but she also has a demonic black wing, an angelic white wing, a tail, and a giant bow. Her clothing is the tamest part of her whole design (that's not really saying much).

Falcoon started as a fanartist who then was hired by SNK Playmore as a professional artist.

In fact, a fanartist (or "doujinshi mangaka") can be a professional artist and ALSO still be a fanartist, even for his/ her own designs.

EDIT: Shit, how fast does this topic drives itself off-topic?

I don't understand what's going on in that picture? His genitals are a living stuffed toy?
