alright, i apologize for resurecting an extremely old topic, but ugh, i need help with this damn thing. I follow the instructions, and the music didnt change. Can someone give me some slightly more detailed directions on how to use the sonic 2 mp3 thing. I neeed help. please im desperate!! please reply! PLEASEE!!!

First of all, this is a pretty slow-moving forum nowadays, so don't expect a response within the first few hours of your post.

As for your problem, the readme should give simple and detailed enough instructions to get it working (I pretty much pasted them in the first post). Also, if you're using Gens, make sure you're using v2.11, and when you open the tool, click on emulator and click on 'Gens v2.11' even if it's already selected (as mentioned in a previous post).

didnt i just day I DID EVERYTHING ON THE INSTRUCTIONS!

well anyway though, so i rename my mp3's, then i put them in the tool folder, then i check off v2.11 (which i have), turn on the emulator, turn on sonic 2, then check the v2.11 emulator box in the menu and it should work?

i dont get it. I renamed a track to 13.mp3
i did the instructions, and the it did not change :confused: :sad:

Are you absolutely sure you're using Gens 2.11 and not Gens+? I don't think it works with Gens+.
