I'll be buying Phoenix Wright on European release, which is sadly still over a month away. There is no way I can resist a game with lines like "You're lying damnit, and I can prove it!"

Yep. Capcom shipped 30,000 copies of the game in the U.S. and 25,000+ copied were sold.

I watched the movie The Crucible (about the Salem Witch Trials). The whole time, all I could think about was how much Phoenix Wright could have improved the entire movie.

So the man likes Shadow, would you rather he like Charmy, or Blaze the Cat?

Charmy's a good enough character - one of the few that isn't "Sonic but...". He's half the size of the other guys, he doesn't spin into a ball, has unlimited flight capabilities, overall inherently well distinguished from the other characters but doesn't look out of place either.

Yeah, then Sonic Heroes came out. Now he is a 6 year old homosexual.

That's kind of what I meant, I should have typed Charmy from Heroes.
Then again, all Heroes versions of characters are asshats.

Blaze is the best new character since Knuckles, dammit.

Blaze isn't blatantly horrible, I'd certainly rank her as being a more respectable character than Big and Cream are, but she's really not any better than Rouge or Shadow (not that I'm implying they're good characters, I most certainly am not)

I'm with Dash. Big is Sonic's version of Totoro, except he has a cool frog for a pet who keeps getting lost.

Big was pretty different from the other characters.

Blaze is just a slightly slower Sonic. But a cat. And a girl. With fire animations.

Well at least part of her character isn't to speak in a ridiculously over the top, offensively bad, retarded manner (and by part, I mean all, because that's pretty much what Big's character completely revolves around). She was also relevant to Rush's (mediocre) plot. Big could've been easily stripped from any of the games he's been in and it wouldn't make a damn difference.

His character design is pretty solid, as he's pretty unique and stands out, but I can't see anything at all worthwhile about any other aspect of his character, especially not in Sonic games.

The only thing i can ever see big doing is fishing, he doesn't suit the all out hero in Heroes.
Then again he would suit an adventure game like Wind Waker, y'know, boats, fishing, buying new rods etc.

What about Big's quest to search for Froggy in SA1 because Froggy was possessed by a piece of Chaos?

They could have just replaced that whole chunk of the story with something else. I always thought playing as Big in SA1 felt terribly out of place. Not only that, but how do you catch a frog on however many seperate occasions and not hold onto the fuck.

Not only that, how does a retard like Big end up on a flying battleship just by fishing?
I guess I'm not the only guy here who saved Big's stages till last, thank fuck there were only a few.

I save his for last as well when I play. I always finish Tails', Knuckles', and E-102's games first since they're the easiest.

Same reason his best friend is a frog and he talks the way he does. He's tripping on toad venom.

Another way that censorship is ruining my life.

And I've gotta catch me a Kaeru-Kun. That toad has some pretty awesome venom.
