I honestly don't think we're a demographic. If we are, we're the one for whioch products are never designed. At least, not well.

Sonic is only for kids? Lunacy!

Well, you can certainly be smug and impenetrable with such replies, but hardly interesting.
Del may be many things, but impenetrable isn't one of them.
Lolz, "penetrate" ^^.

Ban ME, ever heard of nostalgia? It's a wonderful thing that allows us to enjoy the past.
As Sonic is an icon since the 90's, you should expect at least a few people to prefer the earlier version.

Otherwise, you made some points that many have made before, thus your rants are pointless recycled garbage.
Also, how the fuck do you know what the future is going to be like anyway, for all we know, checquered landscapes will come back (they did in heroes at least), and Fang could make a comeback.

OHNOES, decent points? Your rant has fail'd.

I'm confused. Remind me again why I should let souless corporate advertisers decide what I enjoy?

Besides "for kids" doesn't have to mean low-quality homoginized crap, although many people seem to get the idea that it does. Just as "for adults" doesn't mean it's high-quality, intelligent, and enriches the lives and minds of thinking individuals.

You're, like, the fifth person this month to tell me that the entirety of my perception is based on what I perceived as a child. Why do you subscribe to this? Is it so scary a concept that we might be able to put aside our feelings and judge something unbiased?

Also, what kind of troll creates an account called ban me and lurks for over a year before saying something inflammatory?

This topic is boring. I was expecting it to be funny, but in two pages, I haven't laughed once. Much like Super Troopers. Thumbs down.

Personally, I think the early Barneys were better than the later ones, they somehow managed to make him even more PC as things went on.

It's worth keeping in mind that George Lucas made Star Wars for kids, too. Both times.

No, I call it sinister.

Seriously though, that movie was kind of graphic at some points to be for the children.

flash gorden film stile cereal
sci fi
fantisy
contemperary mythology
morality tale

shurly it caan't be all of them

I don't think anyone can get all that worked up about mr ban ME, because he's attacking an opinion that few here would agree with. Who here is honestly dying to see Sonic games become more "adult"? That sounds like a terrible idea to me. I just want them to be "good", like Rayman 2 or Klonoa or other quality kid-friendly titles. Being a children's game is not an excuse to suck it up.
