Yeah, I heard they're making it in Ohshima's basement as we speak. All the level designers from Sonic 2 and S3&K were called back, Nakamura's doing the music, and it's being developed for Sega's upcoming fifty-terabyte console.

But people are still making games or the Genesis. I heard an RPG was recently released.

I don't think it is out yet, but I remember reading about it. G.Silver said he thinks its just a release of some game out of Southeast Asia that was never made.

I wish it was made though..how? Simple! just get the levels from 2 player versus in Sonic 3 and make em actual levels!
I always liked how those versus levels looked like.

I never understood why you would pick anyone, but Sonic though.

As far as I remember Sonic wasn't the best choice to play Balloon Park or Chrome Gadget with. Both required some timing where slower speed was an advantage.

If you didn't suck ass Sonic was the best choice for Chrome Gadget, I could maybe understand Balloon Park.

I've looked it up and my best times were with:
Azure Lake: Sonic (an astonishing 17:30
)
Balloon Park: Tails
Chrome Gadget: Tails
Desert Palace: Sonic
Endless Mine: Knuckles

Chrome gadget is probably the most kickass level ever, it's short, but I love the style.
