So apparently this game isn't going to be hideous, people at the TGS liked it. I'm sure it won't be a revolution as far as the genre of cartoon animals racing on air boards goes but will hopefully be fun and pass the time rather than being an abomination.

IGN and Gamespot have TGS Demo breakdowns if anyones interested(IGN's is the more detailed of the two). Control scheme is apparently a bit like Sonic R.

I love the way that not only are their talents exactly the same, but the personalities of the bird trio are ripoffs of Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles! You can never have too much of the same thing! Especially when it comes to characters! It's also creative and certainly not the exact same retarded concept from both Heroes and Rush! I know that Huey, Dewey, and Louie will be well utilized by the visionary artists of Sonic Team to bring us many more exciting and imaginative stories and definitely won't render them stale, irrelevant contributions to the series' mind numbing character count!! This innovative incarnation of Sonic R 2 is a huge step back to the integrity of the series we all love that's sure to get even better!!! I plan to buy this triumph on release day and masturbate the game disk with a rolled up picture of Yuji Naka in anticipation of the unbridled sexual pleasure that is Eggman on a scooter!!! ...I've been playing with this knowledge for a good week now. But now i finally dare to say.

The Chaotix don't even appear during the cutscenes. Speaking of which, the cutscenes in this are some of the best we've had. The whole game, in terms of story, is not intended to be serious. It's all very refreshing for a series bogged down by Shadow (who has no appearance in the cutscenes either) and other general seriousness.

Seems odd there's no Chaotix yet they include 3 non-Sonic characters. Still, I know I'm probably in the minority but I think I'd prefer NiGHTS, AiAi and Ulala to the Chaotix anyway. 2 new robot characters? Wouldn't 1 be enough?

And Gaz, I guess I'm part of that minority that prefers Aiai, Ulala, and NiGHTS to the Chaotix to be in this title.

I'm actually not certain about the two robot characters being secret characters. But i am sure about the rest.

As for Ulala, doesn't Sonic Team have creative control over the Space Channel series since that merger between them and UGA media?

There are more details i could unleash on you guys, but i'm hungover, so fuck you.

I think they're going to gloss over the "intricancies" of Shadow from now on. No point in drudging up that mess again.
