Samorost 2

Post by G.Silver »

I don't know how many of us here (if anybody) played Samorost, but the sequel just came out so now's as good a time as any for people to be playing either of 'em. The first game was a little mouse-driven puzzle/adventure game whose distinctive quality was that all the environments were, as far as I know, elaborate collages of pieces of driftwood. It has a neat sureal atmosphere and is pretty enjoyable, and the solutions to all the puzzles are well-documented online if you get stuck. Also, it was free.

The sequel is split into two parts, the second of which is download-only and must be purchased for about $10. I'll be buying it myself just to say thanks for making the first one (I admit I haven't done it right this minute).

Both the main site and /samorost1 freeze up partway through their respective Flash frontends. I'll stick with Sharkey when it comes to free gaming.

I noticed a lot of lag between the downloaded stages but I didn't have any problems.

You suck.
