One of the earlier trailers had what looked like a boss fight being fought with the gummi ship. It looked completely different from the gummi ship stages in the first game. In fact, it was more like F-Zero combined with After Burner.

My friend had four belts on today. I would have made a Nomura joke, but making a joke about Final Fantasy is liable to get you an ass kicking around here.

I wholeheartedly endorse jokes made at the expense of Final Fantasy and its fans.

There were 3 white people, 2 asians, and a black guy with an Akira shirt within hearing distance. I wasn't going to risk it.

Ahh, okay. Did that. After viewing it, it's news I already know, so it's nothing too big for me, so therefore, I want my 15 seconds back.

To me, it's old news, but only because I've been visiting this <a href="

How come Chicken Little gets in this game and not Robin Hood?

That's a good question.
And what about the Toy Story characters and The Incredibles?

Perhaps they're making sure they save some good movies for a possible third game.

Aren't Toy Story and the Incredibles also property of Pixar? I'm sure Pixar would have something to say about that...though I'm probably wrong.

I'm sure that comes into it, but they could probably work out some sort of deal. It's not like there haven't been bad games made from those movies already.

I was under the impression that Disney owned those properties even if they were produced by Pixar. Otherwise, it would have been more of a challenge for Disney to greenlight Toy Story 3.

Either way I seriously doubt Pixar would have any problems with the movies being used in KH.

So how long is this game going to be? With all of this fanservice, I'd think that it might take a while.

Disney legally owns the rights to the characters of Toy Story, Findin Nemo, the Incredibles, Monsters INC, Cars, and A Bug's Life. And they want to produce sequels to all of them without any contribution from Pixar.
Sucks, doesn't it?

What's going to suck are the sequels. What won't suck will be whatever Pixar does in life after Disney.

Nomura said that there's enough content in KHII to fill four games. That's got to be hyperbole, but yeah, it's going to be a long one.

Basically, 3 hours for the tutorial portion of the game (before the title screen is displayed) and a possible 8 hours per world according to an interview with Nomura. The running joke right now is that at least half of those hours will be spent watching in-game cinemas unfold.
