Personally I'll always like the SA2 version of "It Doesn't Matter" the most out of Sonic related songs.

SA1's version is infinitely superior in every aspect and you know it.

No, actually. While the SA1 version is really good and for a long time I couldn't decide which version of the song I prefered, I'd have to say that the SA2 version's more upbeat and peppy sound is a bit easier on the ears and also fits Sonic's character better, (although we do end up missing out on a few lyrics that also spoke a lot about the character, which was a reason why I couldn't pick a favorite out of the two versions for a while).

One thing's for certain: "It Doesn't Matter" makes for an excellent ringtone. I've been considering adding "Live and Learn" to my polyphonic collection as well.

Also SA1 version is better.
