Quite Good

Post by Popcorn »

I am writing this during my first ever trip. I never thought I'd never do this. It takes ages to type. My God. Yet somehow grammar and spelling seem important.

Short sentences are quite easy.

It's mushrooms by the way.

Yeah.

Quite good.

Concentrating seems unpleasant. Back to the trip. Using the word 'trip' seems stupid. I've never even smoked a cigarette. Or been drunk. I don't even drink. Extreme.

The keys seems really really far apart.

I was never aware that my monitor was this large before.

Back later. Will regret.

PS. Friend in similar situation is pressing himself against my guitar. Quote: "That feels good."

You type quite well for someone on a trip.

Watch out for that friend with your guitar. He's probably violating it. You should stab your friend with scissors.

I think I'm pretty much sober now. I'm amazed I was able to type that well; I think it was only 'cause I was typing it at the end of the... trip... but, y'know, my God does that word sound stupid.

Well, that just about satisfies my curiosity. Any questions?

Amazingly, I've still never tripped. It's something I've been wanting to try for a while, but the opportunity doesn't seem to come up often.

I think I'd prefer LSD to mushrooms, though.

Wow. That was really coherent for mushrooms.

Most people swear I act high when it comes my my normal behavior. I always get asked if I'm drunk or on drugs. So I'm not eager to try either. I'm pretty sure they'd make me dangerously psychotic. Or if not that, they'd turn me 100% normal. And there's no way I'd want to be in that sort of state.

I've had several oppurtunities to get drunk or high, but I've always turned them down. I dunno why, but I have never really been into the whole mind altering substance thing. The most I have ever done was get pretty buzzed while drink a few margaritas at my bosses house during the end of year party. Kind of funny since I think I was 16 at the time.

I enjoy Caffeine though. I wouldn't really call it mind altering though.

Caffeine IS mind altering, and also addictive, it's just not "bad" so it's legal.

It isn't really mind altering. It just increases the flow of AcH in your nervous system making you sort of jittery. Your inhibition doesn't drop and you don't start rubbing your face against your friends guitar. I wouldn't say it is addicting either, but then again I may have two friends who just might be addicted.

Can't say I have. I just noticed I used the wrong form of 'two' in my previous post.

Marijuana is pretty much the only illegal substance I've done. The high it produces provides an enjoyable way to spend a few hours.

My friend keeps pressuring me to do shrooms with him, but I'm actually pretty eager to try some as it sounds interesting and I have no moral fiber.

Don't die, man. Although we are honoured that in your drugged out haze it was this website that you decided to sputter incoherently in.

Incoherently?

And yes, caffeine is quite addictive.

I have a friend who once almost killed himself with mushrooms (which was his intent). He had consumed, like, 80-something, three whole bags full. Apparently that fucked him up for a couple years after that... according to him, he would frequently "wake up" in the midst of whatever it was he was doing. I guess that's some kind of short-term memory failure.

I never got out of hand with alcohol or marijuana, but at the beginning of the year I decided to flat-out quit both. I couldn't find my answers there, so now I'm shooting for a sort of zen "purity in body and spirit" philosophy. I like it, personally, but everything still sucks and my luck continues to nose dive. Either way, I'm still open to new experiences, and even if I never do acid again after my first shot, it's still something I'd like to know about.

I've never had a cigarette in my life, if that's worth anything.

It's weird that I'm so straight-laced, because my mother and I are the only ones in our family who have never been addicted to any sort of substance.

Both of my grandfathers are alcoholics. As is one of my cousins. My other two cousins are addicted to crack. My aunts are on pain-killers and booze. My stepfather, and both of my stepbrothers never stop smoking marijuana.

And my father is actually a Columbian drug-dealer. I used to joke about him dealing drugs when I was little, and then I grew up and people informed me that he actually IS a drug dealer . . .

By the way - if you're trying things and looking for new experiences, Popcorn, may I suggest some grade-A wang?

By the way did you vomit... Thats really the only drawback from mushrooms... And as for acid it is the "safest" thing you can do half the time... And it is easy to give up... My dad stoped after about 9 years, he got into when he was in the Air Force... And as for caffeine, it is mindaltering... Your mind just goes into overdrive...

I don't get it either. Being "fucked up" or tripping don't interest me. I don't really drink, but that's more because anything alcoholic I've tried tasted like shit, i.e., beer tastes like someone pissed in my Mountain Dew, which already tastes kind of like someone pissed in my Sprite.

Surely you'd think that a fan of ATHF would like to get high, but apparently not.

Either way, ATHF's some funny shit.

Ah, you must be drinkin' the wrong beer, then. I've had some that tasted like pure shite, but eventually found the good stuff. New Castle, McEwan's, Killian's, Guiness. Those're some great beers. Heh, I don't know what I'd do without 'em. XD
