Oh yeah, you're right. I forgot that I actually practiced playing the bosses and I actually got good at that one. Oops.. ^_^;
I just happened to remember how much that one pissed me off.

I didn't mind the ice boss at all. It was the Techno and that damn wheel thing with the one hit kill hand that pissed me off. Those two are the reason I haven't even see the final boss (not Super Sonic final boss) with any character other than Cream.

I pity da' fool who hates Naka. Just because you and a bunch of others didn't appreciate a few recent games, you think that that was ALL Naka's fault?! People who think like that are the reason such a large amount of the Sonic community is so corrupted and retarded.
Well, considering he is the producer for the games, everything is ultimately his fault since he has the ultimate power of approving good ideas and rejecting bad ideas. So, it is ALL the fault of Yuji Naka.

Hey, remember back when Sega of Japan actually cancelled Sonic X-treme because they didn't think it was good enough? Man, where are those guys now?

Exactly. Sonic X-Treme wasn't cancled because it was bad (although I have no doubt that it WAS bad).

It was canceled because it was American.

Hey, remember back when "American" and "bad" used to be synonymous when it came to console games?

You know, that would have been over by 1996 if Earthworm Jim and Vectorman had had the influence they should have.

I think that was mainly the 80's. Back when there were more copies of a single game than units of the system it was to be played on.

I'm actually good at fighting those two bosses... in fact, I own every boss with every character save for the last one, and that's because I stopped playing after I beat the game with Cream.

I also liked the stages for SAdv2 as well... all except Techno Base. Ugh. Although I'll admit they don't hold a candle to the design of the Genesis games, I found them rather enjoyable to breeze through... after I memorized when to slow down before the enemies beat the yiffin' hell outta me.

Alternate Styles

I don't mind the male Sonic characters wearing clothes for special time-based events, downloads, or just an alternative costume as a reward i.e. the Christmas, Halloween, PSO costumes, etc. In general though, male Sonic characters should be mostly naked sans the gloves and shoes. Though, I wouldn't complain if they were given accessories for example, goggles and a pilot's scarf for Sonic of Tails.

Many of the members already echoed my sentiments on the problematic level design in the recent games so I'm not going to further go into that.
Maybe there should be like EX Costumes, where you do a code or fufill a condition where you get an alternate costume, other than the Holidays and GC games costumes. The only person I would wanna see clothed is Shadow, for two reasons: 1) I think he would look cool with leather and 2) so god damn cops will finally tell the differance between him and Sonic.

EX Sonic: If anyone have ever seen the "Human" Sonic, than you know what I'm talking about. A red jacket with green glasses; when he's hit 3 times, the glasses fall off.

EX Tails: Like you said Anon, flight goggles would look cool for Tails. He could also have a blue jacket.

EX Knux: his anime costume...ya know the vest and the hat.

EX Amy: Japaneese School Girl...`nuff said.

EX Cream: She'll have a japaneese school uniform but it'll be better if she had a penguin costume like Chiyo-chan from Azumanga Daio, so she can be Kaiwai and Sonic can push her down!!

EX Rouge: That EX costume from SA2:B

EX Eggman: With special permission from Namco...HEIHACHI EGGMAN!!

Amy's already had a costume change. Just bring back the old one... or are we risking mental scarring with that?

And fr the record, I've beaten SAdv2 with Sonic. Yay.

Fine, I agree that the clothes should be minimal to none. But, at least allow this Sonic to have at least an unbuttoned shirt like Sanosuke from Rurouni Kenshin?

Getting Back to The Topic At Hand

Post by NeoShogun_Zero »

First, Sonic should be kind of like the Prince from Sands of Time. You know, hyper-fast, yet elegant. Tails should be highly adaptable, able to use enemy weapons against said enemies. Knuckles should be a hardcore fighter. Some enemies should have Master Emerald shards in them. And the only way to get them back is to beat the ever-lovin' fuck out of them. Now Shadow should be about light stealth and cool power blasts. Reply wih more on the characters and what they should do.

You would still have to find that certain enemy, unless he was in a room you were forced to go into and the door wouldn't unlock until you killed him.

Are Sonic and Tails holding hands in that pic, or is it just me?

Not just you. I think I've seen some of that artist's work turn up once on 4chan from some moron who decided he'd post furry porn (which is against the rules, of course). So, you know, could very well be.

You know, I never really seen them as holding hands as I mostly payed more attention to the CGing-technique used to color that picture. I like it!

Then again given that the artist drew this, they very well be holding hands.

And without all the kissing and holding hands. This isn't the Sonic the Hedgehog Nude Love-In Hour.

Good, good.

You know, I'm not quite sure why Sonic is often seen homosexually involved with Tails. I suppose it's natural to take the innocence away from what is essentially a brotherly friendship and turn it into something more... perverse.

Well, Sonic does constantly run the hell away from a (what I'm assuming by the standards of Hedgehogs) attractive young lady who wants to jump his bones. I've seen girls chase after gay guys and the resulting relationship is pretty much exactly like the whole Sonic and Amy situation.
