I happen to be a sucrose connoisseur - I don't smoke or drink, not even coffee, but I am addicted to candy in a way no grown man should be. This includes candy from all nations, and based on my extensive research, I classify pocky as one of my absolute favorite candies in the world. It's simple, but refined... sweet, yet not obnoxious... aerodynamic, yet not gaudy... brittle, yet not crusty... minimalist, yet not dull... satisfying, yet not filling... The shape, flavor, and texture are all perfect.
It's no fanboy thing, pocky is the real stuff. It's like the Japanese version of M&M's, except easier to hold and they don't get all sticky in your hand. I like to think they cost less than $5 a box in Japan.

It tastes like what it is. (Semi-sweet?) chocolate on thin breadstick things. You should try other flavors too, they even have fancy cake-decorated kinds, which are obviously going to be a little more expensive.DarkPrime wrote:What does Pocky taste like? I've considered buying it, but I can't justify buying candy for +/- $5 a box.
Btw, where I buy it it's only like $2.50 a box.
