What she said. I believe, in WB's press release they said they were mainly aiming it to the 2-6 year old demographic from their preschool programing and I think it is a better effort for young children's entertainment than that drek that is Baby Looney Toons.Delphine wrote:, which is obviously directed at adults and not at all dumbed down for children.DarkPrime wrote:Has anyone seen the new "Krypto the Superdog" cartoon

There's more than just Krypto? Ooh! Ooh! Who's Batmans!?DarkPrime wrote: Even my 6 year old cousin thinks it's stupid. Krypto and the rest of the super pets was just an all-around bad idea.
Incidently, I don't get Kids WB, which is why all these strange questions are being asked. I do get Baby Loony Toons, though. On the Irish-language channel, so I can't understand any of it.

I was raised on Mister Rogers, Sesame Street, David the Gnome, Fraggle Rock and Eureka's Castle. Then Transformers took over my life.minnietguinea wrote:I'm not quite sure I remember anything I watched within that time frame. Maybe Power Rangers. Ninja Turtles? I was never a Barney kid. So it's WB's answer to Vegeta. And I thought this couldn't get much crapper.Dunjohn wrote:...Uh, i just re-read that article and noticed this intriguing line:
Danger Duck (ancestor: Daffy Duck/voice: Jason Marsdsen): arrogant duck who resents Ace and wants to lead the team: can teleport and toss "magical energy spheres"
They could at least have made him like a serious Duck Dodgers even the Coyote guy looses his class-A ACME rocket for a pair of Jet Shoes which is also crap.

Let's see...I was raised on (so-so) Ninja Turtles, He-Man, Thundercats, Tom & Jerry, some brazillian kid's show, Swat Cats and Cavaleiros do Zodiaco (Saint Seiya). A few years later, Beast Wars completed the circle.DarkPrime wrote:I was raised on Mister Rogers, Sesame Street, David the Gnome, Fraggle Rock and Eureka's Castle. The kid made a valiant effort but.....
Urgh....certainly the worst thing ever to see when coming back to the board. One could think they made them look worse just to spite the petitioners, but if this was their goal then bravo. The art's level of suck is now off the scale.

It's problably not an acronym. http://www.acme.com/what_is_acme/ has some possible explanations for it.

Samurai Pizza Cats was awesome. I love that show.
Also, acme just means really, really good. So a generic "brand name" for really, really good anvils, bricks, crates, explosives, etc.

C-C-C-C-C-CocaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiineThe article wrote:As stated in the Loonatics press release, the characters get their powers from "cosmic dust."
Also, "Ace Bunny" looks gay. At least you could get a cheap laugh out of the EXTREEEEEEEEME Buzz Bunny. This one just makes me embarrassed to own Cartoon Network.
Also also, Bucky O'Hare was the best show ever.

When I was two I liked those shows I listed. As I got older it became Transformers, The Real Ghostbusters, Ninja Turtles and later, Power Rangers.Brazillian Cara wrote:Let's see...I was raised on (so-so) Ninja Turtles, He-Man, Thundercats, Tom & Jerry, some brazillian kid's show, Swat Cats and Cavaleiros do Zodiaco (Saint Seiya). I still like Transformers. I still collect them (not the new series, only G1.), I have close to 300 G1 TF toys. I think the Beast Wars toys sux0r3d.
