Yet their "About" section discloses the full address of their corporate headquarters. California. I should have known.

From the FAQ:
Is it legal to employ children under the age of 16?
YES - Our lawyers have gone over our service contracts with a fine-toothed comb. We have worked with the Department of Labor to be sure we are operating within legal guidelines. The Fair Labor Standards Act's (FLSA) minimum age requirements do not apply to minors employed by their parents, or by a person acting as their guardian. For tax and employment purposes, ChildNet Services enters into a service agreement with the parents of the child: the parents will receive compensation for hours logged by their child and technically speaking the child will then be “employedâ€￾ by their parents.

How can I be sure my child is safe?
In most cases it is possible to visit with the clients before any transaction takes place. We also work with local and state governments to cross-check our clients with sex offender and felon lists. Most of the events your child will participate in are supervised and many of our clients are frequent clients who have a history of incident-free business.
It's good to know that many of their clients have a history of incident-free business!

I took a look at the profiles. Apparently it's used by ugly kids looking for dates and desperate, single, childless adults.

Just reading the website's links makes me uneasy.

Seriously, do those teens need to go to that many proms?

Those 17 year old kids on the boyrental site are hilarious. I hope I can go to proms with this because I am too pathetic to get a date myself!!!

That's strange, I could've sworn I saw an ad for Jason Tsui.

We recently used your services and I must say, you really saved the day! My 16 year-old daughter is a bit overweight and has always had a problem getting a date for her school dances. I had heard about your site through a friend of mine and decided to try it. We found a young boy in our area that was able to take my daughter to the dance, she had the best time and her attitude has done a 180 since! Thanks!
