Post by Sonniku The Battousai »

One) I love Spongebob and Fairly Odd Parents and I think there are some redeeming qualities in Nick, but yeah it was cooler before, and know it kinda sucks. But at least their a little better than Disney Channel;some good shows but they keep pimping their music stars...every five minutes is some music video from a dumb tv movie

Dos) YES!! MY CAPITILISTIC CAPITALLISM WAS ONE OF MY MANY QUALITIES THAT MADE ME A SWIMSCENESTER (A Very Advance Member)...that and my funny jokes, out-of-context style and my..um..vocabulary

ahem...WOOOOOBUFFEEEEEETT!!!

S'okay. I feel that pointing out grammar errors makes the world a better place. Or gets a mention on Fandom Wank. Whichever.

There are actual kids that like Rocket Power? I never thought that was possible.

(WHY LIVE ACTION HOSTS CN? WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!)

They're ripping off of Nickelodeon, which sucks now. It USED to be cool years ago though.
Nick gets higher ratings than CN because of "Slime Time Live"(no matter how crappy you think it is). Is it wrong for CN try to copy its success with the less obnoxious "CN Fridays" for competition?

High Ratings = More Advertisers = More Money
Damn, Cartoon Network has too many originals now. They've almost pretty much cancelled all the good shows. Instead of making a bunch of new crappy cartoons, they should concentrate on making good current ones like Courage, which is kickass, and heck, my mom even likes Samurai Jack. Oh, and I guess KND is alright. But shows like Dexter's Lab and Johnny Bravo should continue to live in quality.
Usually, Cartoon Network has a 52-episode limit on all of its original shows with the few rare exceptions that are the big money makers(Dexter, PPG, KND--appearently). There is even a rumor going around that Ed, Edd, and Eddy is going over the 52-episode limit because of its success. Courage wasn't that successful to continue for more than 52 episodes and sadly, SJ was never a hit with the mainstream audience so CN pulled the plug before the final 4 episodes could air. =/ Well...maybe they might finally air in the future like when Zoids:CC final episodes aired in a row on Toonami.

And I hope, I'm not the only one who don't want to strain their brain comprehensing Sonniku the Battousai's posts.

You'd think so with the current obesity rate of most kids these days.

Or it is the first time someone actually pointed it out. This is the only place I know where people will point out your grammatical mistakes. You should be proud Del.

Samurai Jack is like a supermodel. Very pretty, but no substance. Action shows are generally better when there's a reason for the action. Samurai Jack was just one guy wandering around and beating up people at random.

Like Power Rangers but with prettier art.

I'm sure the show would've gone on longer if they tried to have, ya know - an actual plot and more than 2 characters . . .

I didn't say I didn't enjoy it, I was just wondering who the second guy was. I think it is Aku though.

I meant to direct that towards Zeta. Stupid text, not having facial expressions.

Forgive me...but you corrected it from "they're" to "their"? From what I'm reading, he was right the first time. "They're" is an abbreviation of "they are" - "They are ripping off". Saying "Their ripping off" is insinuating that "they", CN, own a "ripping off". So there.

And Samurai Jack is the shit.

That, j-man, is what Delphine was correcting. Not the previous post regarding the ripping off that you're referencing.
