Whoa, ok ok ok, I agree we have extra vowels and it makes a language barrier.
Come to think of it, I looked up on the Columbine/Doom thing and feel a bit a prick now so you all win.
Besides, I lose all my arguements anyway.
Edit: I prefer Imperial measurements, my scales don't do Metric.

If I pronounced colour "col-or" I'd spell it color. But I pronounce it col-ur so I spell it...uh...colour. Instead of colur. Yeah. Also, I really pronounce it cull-ur. Witness my argument fall apart around my ears.
Ooh! Ooh! I got a new one! "Color" is just a simple keyboard slip away from "colon". And we don't want that. So nyerrrrrrrrr.

Yeah! I meant we should adopt a REAL base-twelve numerical system. One with twelve different digits.
Groups of ten are so inconvinient. You can either divide them in halves or in... fifths. How impractical is that? But a group of twelve can be readily divided into halves, thirds and fourths, which are the most common divisions you're ever going to have to make in your day to day life.
This wouldn't have happened if we all had an extra two fingers.

Chav, noun. Also townie, ned, scally, and some others I can't remember right now.
A chav is a fellow, generally between 15-24 though can be any age, that is the blot on the A4 of humanity. They can be identified by their plaid caps (ideally Burberry), short hair, cheap gold chunky chain jewellery, England football shirts, jeans/Adidas trousers and eye-dazzlingly bright white trainers. Typical chav behaviour includes hurling insults at random people on the street, lurking menacingly in town centres, talking incessantly about football, starting fights in pubs, starting fights out of pubs, starting fights with themselves, slapping their significant others and being boy racers. Typical chav names include Baz, Gaz, Daz, Dave, Mike and Rick.
Chavettes are the female versions, usually decked out in matching tracksuits (hence their occasional nickname "Kappa slappers"), with hair pulled back so far in a ponytail it distorts their face (there's a name for that, but I forget it). Typical chavette names include Shaz, Tray, Kel.
EDIT: Damn it, why didn't I just link that site?!
