I'm surprised J-man's voice is so deep, I always pictured something more higher-pitched.

This is actually a really cool idea. It's always different talking to someone having only seen an avatar or picture as opposed to having heard their real voice. As seems to be the pattern in this thread, I'll probably post something later.

P.S. - I'm always somewhat fascinated whenever I hear people hear say "zed" considering that I managed to make it through my entire life not knowing that was said differently until some point in last year.

Beat you to it, mate. I've been singing the last few years; I even took classical lessons. Incidentally, I just joined a new band and we're recording in a few weeks. If ya'll can't wait that long, I might record something with just me, a PC microphone and my trusty Aria electro-acoustic.
