This joke's four years old

But I just had to take this picture. Most people don't realize just how tiny the Xbox really is.

Even without the Game Genie and Sonic and Knuckles, the Voltronesis wins by far.

Will the Mega Drive explode when switched on?

I remember having as many friends as I could come over with all of their Game Genies and S&K carts, then stacking them on top of eachother as high as possible. I think there was some casulties.

What are all the devices on the left monstrosity? A Sega CD, an original Mega Drive, a 32x, a Game Genie, Sonic & Knuckles, then what?

A Master System converter and a Master System game.

Seriously, what happens when you turn it on like that? Does the Master System game generate an S&K bonus stage?

Can Mega Drive games be played at all when they're shoved into a 32X?

In an MS Safari Hunt, in a converter, in a 32x which then links to SK!?

Yeah, stupid. Once you install the 32X, you're not meant to take it back out.

The fuck? I thought it operated similarly to a Master System converter.

Despite what it looks like, it's not the sort of thing you just slide in and slide back out. There were some weird static guard things you had to fit in with it, and while you could theoretically remove it even after that, it would be a pain in the ass and there'd be no real reason to, except to hide your foolish purchase from friends.

That's stupid. Do 32Xs fuck up and spontaneously stop working as much as reported? That must be a real bitch.

My buddy Ben had one and it worked for years. Like GG! said, it was pretty much a permanent installation, but Mega Drive games worked absolutely fine.

I actually have my Megadrive set up in a similar way to the picture, except, with the first SEGA CD model. It has the Base Converter and all!

Not just first model. That's a first generation Genesis, from release day.

Sadly, no. Something in the 32X conflicts with the Power Base Converter, so you need to either remove the 32X to use the power base converter, or just get a SMS. If you do the second, you can also get the Snail game. :)
