#Lemonade. How refreshing!

Because #ghz was such a rampant success, I am pleased to announce its successor: #lemonade.

This is an upstart, currently active discussion channel run by lovely people whom I cherish and adore. It has a good amount of regulars, but we're looking to expand its userbase. I still think the GHZ community lacks a decent realtime method of communication (because AIM sucks), and IRC is a nice system because you can just dip in and out of it when you want, like the forum itself.

The channel's also looking for moderators, so show up and we might bestow you with magical powers.

Like #ghz, #lemonade is on the Esper server. You can find detailed IRC-useage instructions here if you really suck at doing anything at all: http://lemonade.horseface.org/autojoin.html

EXCITING EDIT: Thanks to some hard work by some guys who I don't care about or understand, or something, we now have a Java version of IRC for all your too-lazy-to-get-a-dedicated-IRC-client needs. Check out http://ghzforum.nathantsui.com/chat/ -- it's all rather simple.

#lemonade is the cool place to hang out. You can find most of the cool people there. In #lemonade you can just chill and do whatever and totally relax. "Take it easy" is the #lemonade motto, for example, that's how laid back it is there. Show up if you want to have a good time. Another good reason to show up is if you want to hang out with friends.

So yeah. I did everything the web page said, but every time I leave Options the server resets back to EfNet and not EsperNet. As a result I'm not getting connected automatically. Also, it seems nobody is here in #lemonade. And you have to pay for mIRC? Man, this is a bad news day.

It held a deathly warning when I first loaded it, though. "Register online - OR FACE A 30 DAY TRIAL!" The rest was based on assumption.
