Seriously. We managed to entertain ourselves for an hour in the IRC chat doing this shit. Well, some of us. The rest of us just gave us mean looks.

But what I really want to know is, how thick is Shadow's wood? And how long, while we're at it?

More importantly, does it have some 'give', or is it stiff all the time?

It's only a 1/4" think, it's got what's called a "rocker", which is how it starts curving at the top. It doesn't have and give, so, it's pretty stiff.
I believe it's some where from 3 to 4 feet long.

The proper way to use a skimboard is:

Go to the beach, and find yourself some "pools" that have quite shallow water, (preferably under 2" deep). From there, starting at one end, you jog, throw the board ahead of you, and jump on front foot first. Usually riding anywhere from 15-30 feet, you have time to do various spins, headstands, (pop) shove-its, and grind along provided rails and jumps etc.

I'm well aware of how things could be a lot worse. Still, if Sunny England has any fine beaches, I'd recommend looking into skimboarding, as it's a blast.

Yeah, the board ways only about 5-10 pounds though.
Richard Elson is the most repetitive artist I've ever seen.

He was pretty much the main artist of the UK Sonic the Comic. He drew the picture of Knuckles in Omni Hunter's avatar.

Remember, I'm goin back to when I was an easily influenced kid.
Although that said, I'm still not used to STC UK's artwork.

STC Online is a load of bollocks.

Oh, and Richard Elson is a damn fine bloke and a top notch artist. Maximum love.

I find it very repetitive. It's as if he's got only 5 character positions that he cycles through. I don't know. I only got 3 issues (67, 68, 69) when I was in the UK back in 95/96 Christmas Holiday, and page after page I saw multiple character's arms in the same position.

I know it's an exaggeration, but it's an apt comparison to some of the stuff Archie puts out (like WB's work). Although Archie has some shitty artists too. But that's all up to the individual to decide.

And!? I find that with most comics, I liked Elsons style because it wasn't cartoony. Mind you, only a coward would write such snide comments in small print. If you have a problem with my avatar then say so but it doesn't mean I'll change it.
Oh, and thanks for the support J-Man, much appreciate.
