Hey, what a good idea! I'm actually kind of embarassed that it never occurred to me before.

You know what would be really awesome, though? If you could control KD using one of those huge fucking trackball controllers, like the one they made for the CDI. I never actually used one, but I remember seeing it in the CDI infomercial...

Couple days old, but I forgot to post about it. I'm kind of annoyed, because I don't want a DS.

At this point, there are actually a few things I'd like to pick up for the DS. Meteos, which I guess I could grab at any time, and I'm hoping somebody picks up Tendo Dokuta and Another Code for US release. That little girl from Another Code appeals to every impure instinct I have.

Have I done the "DS Nuts" here yet? I think I have, but in case I didn't, there it is.

Oh wow! You could actually rub to roll the Katamari like a trackball! That's a great idea. And one screen could be used for overhead views so the Katamari doesn't block your view! This is a great idea.

Lesse *makes list* Pokemon Diamond, Super Mario 64, Wario Ware, Yoshi, KD, Viewtiful Joe - almost enough to make the DS work out really well in my opinion.

There are now 3 games I want for DS: Katamari Damacy (of course), Animal Crossing Online (I expect to be trading items with all of you), and Nintendogs, because thats the game Utada was playing in the commercial. And it made her smile.

I still think the DS is gonna get a Cernex-style raping from PSP though.

Which reminds me, anyone gonna pick up a PSP on Thursday?

I don't think so. Don't quote me on that, though.

I hear it's up to the developer. Movies and music UMDs are confirmed region-locked though.

I really don't understand why anyone would buy a movie or music UMD when you can just load your memory stick full of MPEG4's or MP3's... And doesn't running a movie off a UMD (as opposed to a mpeg file) tax the system so much that the battery dies after 2 hours? Isn't that kind of pointless?

... Anyway, my friend says he'll sell me his relatively new DS plus Mario 64 DS for 100 bucks. I"m thinking about getting it now with this Katamari announcement, but... There are a lot of rumors of a DS price drop and of Nintendo releasing new DS colors, so maybe I should just wait....

Yeah, I don't know why anyone would pay to buy a copy of a movie that could only be played on a tiny handheld screen. That just sounds like a bad case of the stupids to me.

Yeah, it would be better to use a portable DVD player that has a screen included...that way you could see the movie while you are traveling or connect the player to you TV and see it in a bigger screen. That thing exists since years ago.

Technology is so incredible nowadays, they can do almost everything. In the other hand, people still like books, cause you don’t need to waste electricity to read them, you can read them anywhere and no bug/virus/hacker can destroy them.

Edit

Ups I forgot about the book worms!
