I probably haven't said this here before, but I think Musashi's new design is pretty godawful.

Also, LoZ:Minish Cap has been available for a awhile and Y'sVI is coming out this month.

I still regret not finishing the original. I got stuck on the damn vambees. I couldn't stop the little boy from becoming a vambee, either.

And I couldn't stop laughing at the game's claim that a man could get drunk off of soda pop.

Pffft, we don't need no pussy beginner baby sniper rifles. We have a sniper crossbow. That's where the money is at.
I submit that a crossbow is more of a pussy weapon since you can't as easily trace the sound of the shot back to wear it came from. It's stealthier, for those losers that miss on the first shot.

It's harder to use, as the bolts take time to reach where you're aiming. Skill is required!

Bullets have travel time as well and targets must also be lead with them. If you have proper sighting equipment at battle zero it doesn't matter which you are using, especially if the target is unaware, and if you are a decent sniper they will be.

Actually, they do. Even back on the N64. The levels are just so cramped that it doesn't come up much.

They do in good games. I guess Half-Life just sucks.

I haven't seen any good games mentioned that have them.

It's noticeable when you are sniping moving targets. If you hold the dot so it's red, you will miss indicating that the bullet is not instantanious.

If I may... shift back to Musashi for a second... I actually didn't like the original that much. The time flow system was just kind of a pain in the ass, and I don't like having my healing items expire after a period of time.

Every time I look at the sequel, the half-assed cel shading just makes me cringe. It may well be the ugliest example of cel shading I've seen yet, and that's quite a powerful statement.

Yeah, the time limit was my chief problem with the game, too. But the characters were all insanely entertaining. The physics were pretty cool. The sidequests were a blast (ACTION FIGURES!) and the idea of an RPG character having two magical swords instead of one was very boss. Especially with the powers of each so different.

ASSILIMATE!
Ah, my favorite part of that game was collecting all of the powers.

Is that the game's typo, or your typo? I want to know who I'm supposed to be laughing at.

I'm not sure. I learned that word from the game, so either one or both.

Most of the human weapons are instant, most of the covenant ones are not. Neither really matter unless you are sniping. And I have head shotted people out of moving ghosts before without leading the shot, so I think sniper rifles are instant.

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be assimilate, unless assilimate is some lesser-known word that even google doesn't know about.

Assilimate 1. n. British slang for "a silly mate." 2. n To mate with another's ass; especially with one's penis. 3. v. To create an unfunny pseudo dictionary definition and realize it halfway through.
