Treamcast?

Post by Pepperidge »

My DC died on me earlier this month, so I was crusing eBay today to find out how much a new one would set me back when I stumbled upon this:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... eName=WDVW

Anyone have a clue what it is? Then again, I only want a DC so I can play Samba de Amigo again, so maybe I should just splurge on this:

Old news (don't even have to click the link).

It's some portable Dreamcast thing with a built-in screen, yeah? Pirated Asian hardware, unsurprisingly. However, I have no idea how well those things work. I kind of want to get one just to see what it's like, but I'm scared it won't work or something.

If you buy that Samba 2000 machine, I will come over to your house and play it naked. I'll even let you ejaculate on some of my old clothes or something.

If anybody here really can swing the $2500, it would be awesome to have one of those things in the family.

Aw, fuck me!
If I hadn't bought that god damn Fender Twin, I'd have enough to buy the stupid machine.

I hope those things are still available in a few years, when I can hopefully actually waste that kind of money on one.

I don't think there's ever going to be a point in your life, regardless of how much money you have, when you'll be able to purchase a $3000 used arcade machine and not consider it excessive.

I probably could blow that much cash, I just wouldn't have anywhere to put it and it would be all my cash. Plus I don't think my parents would be to happy. Also by all my cash I mean all of it, I wouldn't be able to afford shipping.

Yeah, same here. I could probably buy it eventually, but there's nowhere to put it, etc.

I just spent that much on paintball gun and gear, and could easily afford to get that. If my apartment wasn't stuffed full of my other shit

I actually do have room for it, but no money.

Not that me actually using that space would go over well.

I don't see you buying it. bitch.

If you were hardcore you'd go get a job, buy the thing and pay for an extra room to be built onto your house so you could fit it!

My nickname is "Hardcore." (That's true by the way.)
And that pic is actually outdated.

You faggot fag.

What's all that crap on the Sonic shelf? Games? Is that a Dreamcast matchbox?

I should take pictures of my collection, but I don't know if I want to thanks to Rlan. That fag.

The other stuff:

<img src="http://www.livaudaisnet.com/Cory/SEGASonic03.jpg">
<img src="http://www.livaudaisnet.com/Cory/GenSetup.jpg">
That race car looking thing is a wooden "Pinewood Derby" car I made when I was about 6 or 7. It has Sonic on the front, I'll take a close-up of it. And that blue pen at the bottom of the first pic is actually a SEGA pen from their offices in Japan. I've also got a few store displays in my closet as well.

I could buy it, but it'd hack out over 60% of my savings.

I collect Shenmue stuff, rather than Sonic stuff. I have some pictures somewhere.

Edit: Here we go.

This is just a big general picture. If you want to see a couple close-ups, you can visit the magical land of directories.

Hey Double S, will you marry me?

I do have one thing you don't have pictured there, though: the actual Shenmue standee used in retail when the game was released. I spent about twenty minutes getting that bad boy into my car, and the only way it would fit was to block the entire right side of my vehicle, so I drove all the way home without being able to see anything on the right side of the car.

It was not the first or last time I risked my life to appease my fanboyism.

I wanted to have "SEGA" tattooed on my penis so it would stretch out and only be readable when I had an erection, but I'd already spent all my money on a sterling silver Sonic the Hedgehog ring.

DAMN YOU!!! I've been searching for one of those for whoknowsowlong. I've got the 10th Anniversary statue and crystal cube, and it wasn't that hard to find them. Those rings are elusive sumbitches. Only 499 others in the world..

Anyway, here's that Sonic car:

If you didn't with the derby with that car, it needs to be burned as an affront to Sonic.
