...If she was 26, "statutory" wouldn't apply.

2004 was fairly excellent. I finished high school and moved out to start college, and my first semester was great. The few negative items were easily canceled out, putting '04 just above '03 in my book, and almost as good as '02. While I'm on it, '01 sucked, '00 was decent. '99 was great. '98 was okay. '97 was good. And I don't really remember anything before that.

Happy New year!

Guuuh... actually, for me 2004 was the year of the lameness, the fanboys, the boobies, and the year I realized I love spaguetti westerns.

Anything else more important than that, was the fact that nude characters from videogames isn't seen as "sick" anymore thanks to playboy magazine.

I'd say it was a pretty mediocre year in general, for games, for me, and for the human species.

So I guess there'd be little point in a "best shit/ worst shit" list this year?

My best shit was probably in early October. It was one of those things where I hadn't gone in a couple of days, so when it happened, it was a beautiful thing.

Afterward, I felt at least four pounds lighter.

...What?

We could start a "most mediocre shit" list. I thought it was a pretty good year for gaming. Let us not forget Katamari Damacy.

Nor Metal Gear Solid 3. The best shit on the face of the world.

Mediocre games??? PoP: WW would be one to start with.

(Personally, I liked the game)

Yeah, Cernex... Could you just go away and die? Even back on the old boards, you were always annoying as hell.

PoP:WW is mediocre though. They took my favorite game ever, Sands of Time, and fucked it. The game play is still good, aside from the fighting. Free form combat my ass, its the same shit only now its harder because the enemies are cheap as hell.

Oh and I ran into a huge glitch that not only spoils the story, but because the cut scene doesn't take place you never know that you are actually trapped espcially since you can backtrack you way out of the room. So people have been spending days trying to figure out how to get to the next part of the game. So now I gotta start over and fight that ugly cheap bitch in the metal thong again, twice. If it wasn't for the badass platform jumping parts I'd say fuck it.

Oh and lets not turn every single thread on this board into a Fuck Cernex thread, lets just ban him.

It wasn't particularly bad or anything, just not that stellar. There was some good stuff sprinkled in here and there, but aside from Katamari, nothing shook my world.

Mmmmh... you STILL remember when I posted back in the old days??? my, my, not even I remember those things...

Banned??? Mmmh... haven't offended anyone (except plastic-something-band, for falses accusations), haven't flamed... mmmh... actually, so far, the only thing I have received from everybody are insults, and worst of all, about something that, in reality, only I know about.

But, you want to ban me??? Go ahead. I'll return sooner or later in a couple of years with some other nick, and you won't notice.

And I'll be laughing my head off.

You told us the story, though. Your friend raped a thirteen year old girl, and you're perfectly fine with it. Way to go, champ.

Yeah, because remembering stuff that only happened a few months ago is soooo difficult. I'm sure you have trouble with long division as well.

Haven't offended anyone? Hahaha, bitch, you are seriously retarded-- I can name about ten people whom you've offended who wouldn't mind giving you a stabbing or two.

Anyway, getting off the topic of fucktard rapists, and back to the games-- I thought this year was alright. It got off to a rocky start with Sonic Heroes and Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, but it ended pretty well-- Halo 2, Metroid Prime 2, Katamari Damacy, MGS 3, Tales of Symphonia, etc.

I think all these new games allowed me to finally break my PSO addiction as well.

You know this year wasn't that good for games for me either but due to that I found the comic scene to be quite nice... I doubt anyone really follows it much but this year has been rather nice... The hitlight was that whole "X-men Reloaded" thing they did, mainly because they good rid of the black leather and since they have a new training/junior team book out... Also that whole Avengers Dissembled thing was nice, but you know that Hawkeye and Thor will be back in a few years... As for that whole Identity Crisis over in DC it seems a little out of place for me... But the whole JLA vs. CSA seems really good, I believe that JLA: Earth 2 is one of the better graphic novels to come out and it's nice to see that world being used again... But who am I kidding I'm talking to myself...

Comic scene??? Mmmmh... so far, the only thing I liked was DC's "Green Lantern: rebirth" issues... although the art was kindda strange for my point of view.

Too bad we mexicans are 1 year behind comic releases... I mean, we're just knowing of Kyle Rainer's new outfit...

A good majority of the great games mentioned in this thread came out within weeks of eachother, and that really is a practice that needs to fucking stop.

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door deserves a hearty mention. It's better than Sunshine, and probably better than Final Fantasy whatever-is-out-now. It's really good. Really really.

I don't think we have Katamari Damacy yet. Then again, I don't even have a PS2 yet. Meh.
