Ristar SMC scans

Post by EmeraldGuardian »

Me and my friend work on a Ristar site, and I'm hoping that someone here has the SMC guide scans. If so, could you please post the Ristar section scans? I hear there are enemy profiles, maps, etc that would be nice for me to get info on. Thanks.

Hey, I gave djbrayster a bunch of screenshots of Ristar in SMC. Just as a tip, you probably already know this, but in SMC+ the menu looks different, so you might have to get more shots if you want to show the cameo from both games.

Hmm, I assume you mean the manual scans? I mean scans from the Japanese SMC plus player's guide. If that's still what you meant, then my bad.^^;

Heh, I knew what you were talking about, but I was commenting on something completely different. I was talking about the screenshots of the menu screen in the cameos section of the site.

Thank you! The japanese name is King Greedy or Kaiser Greedy. Protodude he is the Last boss of Ristar.

I am considered a Ristar obsessive. I spent £140 on the original Jap Ristar game in nr mint condition, brought SMC Jap just for the manual scans, Own SGGG for the sega badges and the ristar cameo, and also own Ristar GG Pal and Jap, both are identical on my hardware cos of region locks. and then there is the small matter of building a major fan site with 4 of my closest friends after one posted a pic of "Catamor" on SCARZ over a year ago!

you may flame me for being sad now.. :confused:

One of the biggest mistakes I ever made was not buying SGGG. Is it good?

Not being good doesn't stop it from having one of the best theme songs ever though.

Holy cow! they mapped every game barring Flicky which is not mapable really.. I mean shit this guide is a tome at 306 pages!
meh I ordered two cos it was only $40 for free postage.. that works out at about £20 so was a bargain! So I have one I can take apart for scanning.. when I figure out how to do it without ripping the pages.
